The crazy thing is, that blockbuster Kings/Pacers trade of Halliburton for Sabonis, we could have drafted BOTH of those guys. They were right there. And we whiffed on both (Smith over Hali, unconscionable; and Chriss + Bender over Sabonis, which, we could have at least used ONE of those two picks to give Sabonis a try).

For me it is the biggest challenge we’ve had as a franchise under James Jones. His draft acumen is lacking and so frustrating.
Yes, we could go back even further with some older picks, but the guy is still here and now we are bereft of picks down to some of the recent trades.
This board really would have picked better 8/10 times with the consensus picks but that Sticks instead of Halliburton pick for me was easily a sackable offence.

The only thing that gives me any peace at all about losing out on Halliburton is seeing his janky ass jumper. His form is horrendous; like, worse than Barbosa or Marion bad. He shoots a decent percentage, but that's a noticeable flaw.

I’d argue it’s because of seeing that sweet, sweet Booker shot for multiple seasons that anything outside of that is cringe.
