I hope it happens man.
If we have a roster spot open up for some reason (I'm not advocating cutting anyone for this), I think I would sign him just so that it sends a message to players that we're an organization that will take care of you. Who knows what future young player might have Tony Snell in his year, or if he happens to go work for an agency or something like that?
Not a bad idea…does he have to stay on the roster? Can it be just a 10-day contract? Can you sign him to a non-guaranteed deal and then just cut him the next day?

Get the fuck out of here, y’all.

Snell has made $50M in his career. Cry me a fucking river you can pay for health insurance.

He had to play a whopping 10 years to get health insurance for life after already making $50M. The worlds smallest violin is playing. Wow. $50M career earnings and he’s asking for a hand-out.

There are so many people in this world who need compassion. Tony Snell is not one.

The cost of health insurance is pretty high when a guy that made $50 million is complaing about it, haha.

I was only talking about how it might impact how players view our organization as player friendly. My earlier post was not really sympathetic to Snell

It's not THAT high. I guarantee if I gave you $50m (even after taxes), you could find a way to fit health insurance into your budget.

I was just kidding. Idk what health insurance he uses, but with a couple autistic kids, he might be paying more than the average person.

Yeah I saw lol.

How about donate that money you would’ve signed Snell with to say a family who actually would need it

Just because he made $50mil doesn't mean he has that in his bank account. He might only have $10mil or so left after taxes, expenses, bitcoin/crypto/NFT investments.

10 million is still more than 99.9% of Americans have in their bank accounts

Nobody should feel sorry for Snell other than him having the bad luck of two kids with autism. If you can't figure out how to properly handle 50 mil, that's on you.

Snell also was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum

Yeah, who was it back in the day that got everybody riled up with his expenses issues that the normal person doesn't have?

I remember Latrell Sprewell turning down a multimillion dollar deal because “he has a family to feed.”

$50M in earnings means he can afford to not have health insurance.
