I think Fred might be taking a little break from the NBA. You can’t make contact with a ref. Not good at all.
(Side note but you leave yourself open as a league to something like this happening if you let players bark at refs and get in their face all game long with no consequence)

Remember, you can't "shoot" a shot with less than 0.4 seconds left on the clock. Only tip-ins or...punches.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
I don't know if you call it wired differently but smart and knows the rules. Also, many players don't want to mess up their stats and shoot long bombs at the buzzer.

Kinda in bad taste to try and score when up as time runs out. Then again, it's the Lakers, so who cares!
Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
Eh, up 17 going into the 4th doesn't mean much these days.

Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
OK, I'm convinced. We should bring back Ty Jerome at the minimum.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
Has James Jones drafted a player that didn’t become at least an nba quality rotation guy?
Cam Johnson? Check
Ty Jerome? Check
Jalen Smith? Check
Toumani Cámara? Check(shooting 39% from 3 so far)
Ryan Dunn and Oso? Looking good so far.

And stop giving up on them after a year..
Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
I can understand Ty Jerome…we traded him for CP3 and it has taken him a bit to get to this point, but we majorly botched the Jalen Smith situation. He and Camara would be awesome for us right now. We should’ve found a way to keep Camara in that trade.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
He drafted a bum at #1 overall ... Soon to be out of the league.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 5 (11/18 - 11/24)
I think that McDonough, tbh.

Don't let McDonough off the hook here. He was gushing about the pick when he was in for his workout. He was a terrible drafter, with the exception of lucking into Book.

I'm not letting McD off the hook for anything, he was a total failure and he was ugly, I hope his Christmas sucks. With that being said, Sarver was twerking for Ayton as soon as they lost the lottery.
Love, Hurts.

I guess James Jones was our "Director of Player Personnel" up until Oct 8, 2018.

The 2018 Draft, in which D****** A**** was drafted #1 by the Suns, took place on June 21, 2018, a few months before Jones officially became GM.

BTW, this little run here is a very impressive stretch for Jones as GM, especially when presented in bulk:

During the 2019 off-season, Jones orchestrated changes that appeared questionable on the surface, such as firing head coach Igor Kokoškov after only one season (albeit hiring Monty Williams soon afterward),[56][57] executing multiple trades in the 2019 NBA draft, including T. J. Warren to the Indiana Pacers for cash considerations, trading down from the 6th pick to pick up both Dario Šarić and the 11th draft pick (Cameron Johnson) from the Minnesota Timberwolves, and trading a late 2020 first round pick to the Boston Celtics for Aron Baynes and the 24th pick (Ty Jerome),[58] and even picking up Ricky Rubio in free agency via trading multiple picks and players with the Memphis Grizzlies to free up more salary.[59][60] Despite the mixed reception, Jones' moves would help the Suns achieve their best record in five seasons, before the COVID-19 pandemic hit U.S. shores in 2020, with a 26–39 record before the season was suspended. When the season resumed in the 2020 NBA Bubble, the Suns managed to finish with an 8–0 run in Orlando, with their only significant roster change adding G League guard Cameron Payne.[61][62][63]
With the surprising improvement in the bubble, Jones orchestrated another major trade in November 2020, this time trading Kelly Oubre Jr., Ricky Rubio, Ty Jerome, Jalen Lecque, and a protected 2022 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Abdel Nader and All-Star point guard Chris Paul.[64]
