I can't remember when I watched a game the last time this season. I follow along these GameDay threads and box scores. I'm not missing anything. It's amazing how painfully frustrating these games are without even seeing them playing.
Almost makes me miss last year!

Keep in mind Charlotte had lost 18 of their last 19 and their last 10 in a row.
Glad we could be their Washington Generals.

Don’t leave Charlotte without Nick Richards
He is definitely the kind of player we need to add.

I'm a bit behind live (just finished the 1st quarter) and it's a small sample size, but I like our energy better the past 1.25 games so far. IMO this is a better rotation for us. Maybe something to build on.
EDIT: I retract the preceding comment.

There's also still a lack of emphasis on the little things that has to fall on the coaching staff. No one seems to be getting on these guys about boxing out or getting back to defend in transition.
100%. We are so bad at the little things and fundamentals that go towards winning basketball.

Kinda like when New Orleans went 1-20 with their 1 win against us…they finally won because they got to play the wizards

What was our record after 35 games last year?

Yea there's no point in putting Beal on the bench just to play him the same 30 minutes with the starters. Same with Nurk. They just gotta go.
Exactly this.
Or if you can't get rid of the problem children (Grayson too so not impactful) then just blow it all up.
These "stars" need to be surrounded by the right PERSONALITIES. we keep signing nonfat yogurt role players.

And 16-19 this year. Makes sense that it mirrors last season but worse.

The Suns ruined a Finals team in a 0-60 of about 2 seconds. Impressive. Be careful for what you wish for. We get an owner willing to spend and this is the result.

The good: Booker had a bounce-back game with 39 points and 10 assists.
The bad: He seems to have achieved this by sucking out the other players' bball skills, Monstars-style. KD had 26 empty-calorie points. Beal had 10 off the bench. Nobody else cracked double-figures. The team seemed lazy and pathetic for most of the game. As usual we have no chance against teams that are bigger, stronger, tougher, or really give any effort at all toward wanting to win the game.
I do like Jimmy Butler, but this team is far, far from being a contender, and if you think one trade for one new player can fix it, you're nuts. This team is toast and they need to blow it up, pronto.

It’s not fair we don’t get to play the Suns every once in a while to get our confidence up.

I think last year they had a Christmas day disaster and then they went on a run. This year they had a decent Christmas game and went on a run too but in this case is a losing run.

Hey, we looked good in 1 out of 4 quarters.

I think Oso was getting pushed around by Williams and Richards, just couldn't hang physically but I'd still have stuck with him. We just look better with him and Dunn out there.

Even though Booker had a decent overall game I'm pretty sure he missed a bunch of shots at the end that would have made a difference.
