I interpreted the KOC conversation to be James Jones offered Mikal/Cam and no picks or non Mikal/cam contracts and all 4 picks. Now I just think Jones would have included picks with Mikal and Cam, just not all 4. Maybe 2.

Ideally yes, but there's no way Bud is going to give up yet. We'll probably play Book, KD, and Beal 40 minutes each chasing the 10th seed for a few more weeks. Hope KD can stay healthy; we will really need him this summer as a trade chip.

Increasing his value as a trade chip doesn’t necessarily increase his chances of being traded, so that’s not much of a motive.

That quote from KD saying he didn’t want to be traded in the middle of the season because he costs a lot is kinda interesting. Think maybe he learned from being traded to the suns and us having to gut our roster to get him. We had to start Cam Payne, Landry Shamet, and Jock Landale in an elimination game.
