Jabari, Tari and 2 picks should be the starting point. I don't want Brooks or Green but it looks like they'd have to part of any deal for salary purposes. But start with Jabari, Tari and 2 picks and maybe you get one of those players and 2 picks or both players and 1 pick plus salary.

I have a couple of Rockets fan friends and they insist that Eason is off the table in any KD trade discussions. They love him and think he's a star in the making. That's just some random fans' opinions but they laughed at me when I brought up his name in trade ideas.

I don’t doubt that. I don’t think Houston will want to include him and I don’t think we will have the leverage to make them.

I think Jabari and 2 picks is my absolute floor(knowing of course that Green or Brooks also has to be included) my next ask would be:
1. Eason
2. Sheppard
3. Whitmore
But there’s a chance we end up with Jock as the last contract piece instead.

Are you holding out for our own picks, or just 2 picks?

Our own picks. If it's Green and Jabari, I'd want both our picks but probably settle for one and some other pick from the Rockets.

I would demand all three of our picks from Houston unprotected, including this year’s, and (assuming we don’t make the playoffs) see if we can complete the trade before the draft lottery (if Houston is eliminated by then).

Trade KD and picks for Ayton.

Is a new contract coming up already? He had that great stretch during the time they beat us twice. I didn't realize he's been out since then. Probably feels he's done enough for that next big contract.

Yeah I mean that’s usually the reason players have injuries, right?

Tell them they don’t have to give us any player they want to keep. They can just send us FVV and the picks.

I think they probably want FVV, but you seem to care more about the picks because you also want to trade Booker.

He's a little too injury prone, don't you think?

There isn't any reason to rush him back, they seem to be playing better with Clingan.

Positioning him on the starboard bow has been great for the offense.

At a lower salary? I doubt Houston wants him at $45 million.
