Missed this one, but seems like the offense was clicking from the box score…or was it just Gillespie and Royce? As good as we shot from 3, Minny shot better and got more total shots up. Not gonna win that way.

Gillespie with a great game 20 pts, 8/9 FG, 7 ast 0 trn
Like Eddie keeps saying, he needs to be even more aggressive offensively.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

We had our normal stupid turnovers from KD and Book.

Remember how the Suns swept the Timberwolves during the regular season last year?
Are you saying we are going to sweep them in the playoffs like they did to us last year? :P

If there is a god the only thing the Suns are sweeping out is lockers once the regular season ends.

So the plan is to reload around the 10 points, 6 assists, 0/6 from three point guy?

Not his best work. But that is a pretty distant outlier; Book doesn't have many nights like that. And Minnesota made it their top priority to shut Booker down.

He’s been very bad since his 41-point game, failing to score 20 points in all four games, at a critical point in the season. His shooting has gotten worse in each game: .412, .389, .308, and .286. His 3-point shooting has been 2-21…that’s 9.5% for those keeping score.

He's not shown up when it's counted a few times.

No one is untouchable or above criticism. But Booker is still putting up good numbers this season:

25.3 ppg on .531 / .340 / .895 splits, 7.1 ast, 4.1 reb, 1.0 stl.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/pl ... ede01.html

He hasn't been at his career best this season. I wish the ppg were a few higher, the 3pt% were higher. But he has been an All-Star 4 of the past 6 seasons. Cherry-picking a few games where he scored 10 points or missed some 3s or whatever is not a fair evaluation.

I would trade Book if we could get a gigantic cache of picks and youngs, or if he asked out. But it's silly to act like he is trash.

We're also still misidentifying his role as some Luka/Harden type. He's not that.

He’s also averaging 9.5 assists per game over those 4

He literally hit a game winning shot during this “bad” 4 game stretch we are talking about

Cool so he’s inconsistent. I can’t imagine Barkley putting up 10 points and everyone being okay with it. I really like Booker, I think he gets a pass too easily though.

Barkley did it 12 times in his 4 years with the suns…This was Bookers 7th time in the last 4 years.

So he does it twice a season…but ya let’s ship him out for it
