Ja got suspended today…I do think we might see him traded…to be honest I’m not sure he has much trade value…who is going to want him?

At the right price, Ja would be great. This is exactly the type of player you want to trade for, a depressed asset who normally would never get traded but suddenly has soured on his current team and becomes available. But I really don't think we could get him from Memphis without offering them Booker, and I wouldn't want to do that unless they threw in picks, which they would be stupid to do. So it's a pipe dream.
The team that I think could be sneaky competitive in trades is OKC. You'd think they would not need to make any trades because they are the champs, and that's basically true. But they have a TON of 1st round draft picks and a lot of young talent, so they could make a deal to get a player and throw in 3-4 of those future 1sts to get it done. Ja makes absolutely no sense with them since they already have SGA, but they could go get an insane player like Giannis or whomever if they became available. Can't remember the last time a defending champ had this kind of assets to get even better.

I think Booker has significantly more value than Ja…I’d need our 2026 1st back as well as the 2030 pick they have swap rights on, plus Coward. Then I’d try and trade Ja elsewhere.

You realize hes a piece of shit right? Not like Dillon Brooks piece of shit who plays a character like that on the court. This guy is actually a selfish pretentious poser piece of shitMori Chu wrote: ↑Sat Nov 01, 2025 5:19 pmAt the right price, Ja would be great. I'm high on Maluach, but man I really, really wish we had traded for New Orleans unprotected first round pick. Especially given we may have already acquired our center of the future. Peterson, Dybantsa and Boozer would all look great on this roster.

I would absolutely reverse course on that too…though it’s unclear if the same trade was offered to us. Could also have drafted another player in the 20s…though that might just be Fleming and we keep all the 2nds.
Re: Around the NBA: Week 2 (10/27 - 11/2)
Brian Gregory intimated it was offered to us but when Maluach was available, they passed. I think they would have taken Fleming too, but even Newell (+ Flem?) would have been an OK outcome.

Fleming is going to be a stud. He pops out every time he's on the court. He's a stock magnet
