"He is a person of the highest character who will fit perfectly into our burgeoning Suns culture. We look forward to welcoming him to Phoenix."

Good stuff.Wright and Len rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in the NBA for their blocked shot rates – 3.82 blocks per 48 minutes for Wright and 3.77 for Len.
I honestly don't think any of that matters. But I appreciate the attempt to be objective.Shabazz wrote:Two potential issues with Wright:
1 - He's incredibly injury prone. Among the most injury prone players in the league.
2 - He excels as a roll man in the PnR, especially catching lobs. Our guards are not good at throwing lobs, particularly IT who may be the worst PnR passer I've ever seen.

What is your problem with that?INFORMER wrote:Lon Babby wrote:our burgeoning Suns culture
It seems a little much and just more Blabby speak.Indy wrote:What is your problem with that?INFORMER wrote:Lon Babby wrote:our burgeoning Suns culture
Well it is certainly PR spin, but that's his job.INFORMER wrote:It seems a little much and just more Blabby speak.Indy wrote:What is your problem with that?INFORMER wrote:Lon Babby wrote:our burgeoning Suns culture
Sadly, no. I think Wright is the better player. What I do NOT want to see is a reduction in Len's minutes. They need to slowly increase to about 30mpg in March.iLLmatic wrote:I'm okay with seeing Plumlee get less minutes. Am I in the minority with this?ShelC wrote:I do wonder what it'll do to our rotation. I like Wright and his ability to defend but it just creates more of a logjam. We have to shake this roster out.
Shabazz wrote:That's a good trade for the playoff run. I think wright can play next to any of our bigs.
Not a fan I take it?INFORMER wrote:I honestly don't think any of that matters. But I appreciate the attempt to be objective.Shabazz wrote:Two potential issues with Wright:

You, sir, are an idiot.SDC wrote:pointless move. why get wright when you already have plumlee and len? adding more redundant players doesnt move the needle. instead of getting a stretch 5 or a back to the basket center, mcdo added another sam delambert type. the sig stays.
This acquisition greatly improves our ability to withstand an injury up front, because we now have four legitimate bigs instead of three. I don't like having to depend on Shav, or having to rely on Mook and Tucker playing PF.Shabazz wrote:1 - He's incredibly injury prone. Among the most injury prone players in the league.
nobody's pining for wright other than the suns apparently. that's why mcdo got him easy and for cheap. now you have len, plumlee and wright who play similarly (athletic shotblocker, rebounder, dunker)jkalldaway wrote:And THIS is why you don't go for a bum like O'NEAL. Brilliant McD.
Let's try to stay away from personal attacks as tempting as they are in some cases.jkalldaway wrote:You, sir, are an idiot.SDC wrote:pointless move. why get wright when you already have plumlee and len? adding more redundant players doesnt move the needle. instead of getting a stretch 5 or a back to the basket center, mcdo added another sam delambert type. the sig stays.
