That's a lot of money!
Re: NBA Free Agency
It's a lot of money, but you can make an argument that it's a bargain for what he brings.
BTW, Aldridge might cancel the rest of his meetings and the Suns might not be able to get a chance to give their pitch.

Re: NBA Free Agency
Suns too busy entertaining the likes of Aldridge and Love, meanwhile all the FA's they might have a chance with are signing elsewhere.

That's alright. We didn't need another small forward.

Re: NBA Free Agency
I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about the CBA but these signings are making me hope that the owners are right and the salary cap goes up exponentially. If not, these crazy signings could bring about another lockout. I mean, $15 million a year for Demarre Carroll?!

Kobe probably started talkin' shit again like he did with Dwight.Wally_West wrote:https://mobile.twitter.com/WojYahooNBA/status/616275904252096512

Re: NBA Free Agency
If LMA doesn't sign with the Spurs then he is an idiot.
Re: NBA Free Agency
Unless he signs with the Suns of course.

Re: NBA Free Agency
Either way there will be another lock out. We might as well plan for that every single time now.iLLmatic wrote:I'll admit I don't know a whole lot about the CBA but these signings are making me hope that the owners are right and the salary cap goes up exponentially. Re: NBA Free Agency
So the Lakers whiffed on LMA, and I doubt Love is signing there. That pick is likely gonna be another lottery pick again.

The Sixers will just draft a center with it anyway..iLLmatic wrote:So the Lakers whiffed on LMA, and I doubt Love is signing there. That pick is likely gonna be another lottery pick again.

Re: NBA Free Agency
The cap will absolutely, unequivocally, increase exponentially. These deals will take up small percentages of the cap when it happens.
Re: NBA Free Agency
If Millsap takes the magic offer 4/80, I'd be tempted to go after Tobias Harris. Not necessarily because he's a good fit, but he'd be a good asset with the way money is being thrown around. Although that didn't work out too great with Isaiah Thomas.
