I felt like Westbrook did almost nothing but hurt them last night. But then, I'm totally biased because I hate the guy.

I'm watching Game 5 of this series on NBA TV. Memphis looks pretty great overall. I'd love to see them go up 3-2. I think they need to close out in Game 6 in MEM if they want to take this series. Go Grizz!

WOW. What an ending.

Why in the world is this game on NBATV?It just has a different feel on TNT. Did we really need to see the Bulls score 69pts and lose to the Wiz? Sometimes I don't understand The scheduling.
“Kobe had said (after the play) I wasn’t hugged enough as a child,” Bell recalled. “My mom kind of found him after the instance and we had beat them and offered him a hug in the bowels of the Phoenix arena. She really feels a part of that story.”

If they win the series it will make the loss to memphis feel a bit better.

That's true. The head-to-head record showed me that MEM deserved it more, sad as it makes me as a Suns fan. If we'd just beaten them 2 out of 4 times, we would have been in the playoffs.

Memphis is a nightmare matchup for the current team. Losing against them, Brooklyn or Chicago for instance, was not terrible. The real issue were some games against really bad competition that I guess were somewhat taken for granted, like Utah (twice!), NY, Detroit or Cleveland.

Sure, since they have no other quality player, as evidenced by the way OKC is beating their asses with no mercy.

If OKC does lose this series, I think they're in a great position to improve. Having two first rounders this year is going to be huge, especially that 21st pick. They should be able to get two contributors with those picks.

And then there's Westbrook. I think they could get a really good deal for him, if they're inclined to trade him.

Moving Westbrook is easier said then done, because he's so talented, and he's a 2-way player, and Presti is the one who drafted him. I think it's going to be hard for Presti to bring himself to trade him.

OKC has got some terrible last second looks in this series. The Off balanced Durant 3 at the end of regulation in Game 3 where the whole right side was cleared out and the Durant 3 last night at the end of OT with still 2 or 3 seconds on the clock come to mind.

How bout this STAT I saw on TNT Last night...4 OT Periods were played in this series so far, Russel Westbrook has scored 1 pt on 0-14 From the floor in the 4 combined.

Durant in playoffs: avg 28/10/4
40% FG
29% 3
72% FT

Westbrook in playoffs: avg 25/10/7
34% FG
19% 3
85% FT

I don't think Westbrook has anybody to blame but himself for the poor shooting. Tony Allen is guarding Durant, not him.

I'll tell ya, when Westbrook plays within the flow of a game and doesn't force it, he's a stud.

You're joking right? Conley is a beast & one of the best P&R defenders at the PG position in the league.
Go Suns!

Well now they're going to Game 7. Memphis just blew their best shot at it. If the Grizz want it, they're going to have to do it on OKC's home floor. That'll be a tall order. I won't count either team out yet, but OKC just weathered the toughest storm.

I hope OKC loses I can't stand that team. I'm so tired of the Durant hype and the same old narrative of blaming everyone but him anytime something goes wrong. Hell the damn newspaper had to apologize for an article where it talked about how you can't criticize Durant. Throw on top of that the fact that Westbrook is so unlikeable on the court and I just hope they are out of the playoffs as soon as possible.

Hopefully Memphis can take this last game on the road.

And Durant said that it's what they are supposed to write (unreliable) because he didn't come through for OKC.

Not many superstars would have reacted that way when facing hard criticism on the verge of elimination, then proceed to score 36, route the Grizzlies and send the series to game 7.
