I hate the block/charge call on a 1-on-1 dribble drive. Unless a the offensive player clearly extends their off-ball arm to get leverage, I want to see it called a blocking foul every time. I don't care if the defender is "set". Don't fall over like a chump.

Bane got a rough whistle on that rebound. He had hands on Curry's back for like 0.2 seconds and I don't think he pushed him at all.

There was no push, but it wouldn’t have been overturned. He put his hands on him. Similar to that foul they wouldn’t overturn on Bridges when his hand touched Luka’s shoulder

Yeah, they were saved from The Grizzlies incompetence down the stretch. I still think we beat them. Might take 7 games but I’d bet anyone here we take them down. Idgaf!

Have people just started watching him or something? He's done this his whole career.

I don’t watch a lot of him, but ya I realize this is who he is…mostly baffled that Memphis left him in. I guess it was to guard Curry, but 3/17 before two large buckets is just so bad. He gets hot at times, but I just don’t think it’s worth his bad games. He’s got a career .517 TS% and all but his rookie year have been under .515. He takes shots like he’s Kobe and for some reason Memphis hasn’t ever stopped him. He is what people thought Booker was when people were saying Danny Green was better. I think Brooks might actually be good if he just realized he was a 3D guy. Just take open 3s and attack a close out here and there. That’s all I’d want from him on offense.

There’s an alternate universe (multiverse?) where Memphis relents and we get the non-Marshon Brooks in the Ariza trade instead of Oubre. I think this timeline is better.

I still think Brooks is better than Oubre, but not by much. Like Split said, he could be much better if he stopped with the eternal heat-check. But he's always been that guy, so maybe it's not possible.

So guys like Shaq or Giannis could just plow through people and it will never be a foul if they just use their shoulder?
