The GOP will ignore any numbers that don’t make Biden look bad.
The Dems would never do that.

If there are any bad economic numbers, while Biden is presenting them, he'll just trail off mid-sentence and say "Anyway..." and move on. Works every time!!

Some new economic numbers came out for the past month. Not horrible but a bit down from previous months. This commentator thinks the Fed should consider cutting interest rates to boost the numbers in September.

Yes cut the interest rates as I’m buying a house and we will close in December…a rate drop would be nice…and would also probably help raise the value of my current place I’d be selling.

But wait until I buy. Works for me. Hopefully, I'll find mine soon.

I would love to refinance my auto loan. I'm around 6% on it due to the way rates soared.

That would be nice…I have 3% on my current mortgage, so these new 6-7% mortgages are rough haha…we’ll see if they come down a bit.

I finally got to do my Dave Ramsey style debt free scream about a week ago.

Yea, we got in around there too.... Kinda makes it hard to move when you're locked into such a good interest rate. Granted I doubt we move since I have a feeling we'll need the space in case a kid or kids have to move back home to save on a home.

Markets taking a fat dump today... Combination of things causing it from Japan's market crashing, to the geopolitical stuff going on in the middle east and the fed not cutting rates. So it could be a good time to jump on some stocks. I had a feeling this was coming and sold all my stocks friday (i had taken some hits the last 2 weeks and felt it was going to get worse). I'm still up 10% for the year; was 30% two weeks ago.... eeek!

Too bad to see the market take a drop today. I'm reminded that markets are up overall for the past few years, and hopefully this is a short term drop caused by external factors (Japan markets etc).

I saw Warren Buffet dumped his Apple stock. I hear a lot of talk of an impending recession. Then again they have been talking about an impending recession for several years.

Is it really “dumping” if you’re selling it for ten times what you paid for it?
Sounds like rebalancing after a period of growth for the stock.

He just happened to sell it the day before the biggest one day drop in stocks in a long time with fears of a recession coming on. That’s some pretty good timing. Others say he is selling it to add extra cash for all the deals about to happen in stocks from the looming recession.

LOL, I sold all my stuff friday because the VIX was up there and had been listening to analyst for the last few weeks warning about this. It did feel good when I learned Buffet sold off a bunch of stuff too and to be sitting with cash in hand ready to pounce when the dip is right.
