I'm sure she did, but it's going to be hard for her to get the court to disregard her admitted affair and the state money used to travel with her married lover on vacation.

DC Circuit strongly rejects Trump's claim of Presidential immunity.

It's not surprising, since it came put of DC.

Not surprising , since Trump is an American and no American is above the law even if Maga thinks so.

Trump is a criminal and is going to be prosecuted for his too many to count crimes. That’s my favorite talking point.

I just want the trials to go forward and get resolved before the election. The American people and voters deserve to see whether one of the two major party candidates is a convicted felon before they vote.

Isn't the Supreme Court going to hear the case about the 14 amendment in the next 2 days? That will be big as to whether or not states can take him off the ballot.

I don't know who Noone is but I will agree that no one is above the law.

Although your guy Trump thinks he can get away with shooting a guy in broad daylight.
Trump:
"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"

Isn’t it likely that the SCOTUS will settle it for all states? Ruling that either:
1. All states must remove Trump from the ballot because he is ineligible
or
2. All states must keep Trump on the ballot because he is eligible

I think that's probably a reasonable assumption. Although, they might leave it up to the states to take him off the ballot could be a 3rd option.

Yes, it’s possible they will rule that he is subject to disqualification from the ballot under the 14th amendment but that it is up to the states to determine if he engaged in/supported insurrection or rebellion.
A 4th option is to say that he may be ineligible but that it’s up to Congress to decide on January 6th, not the states or SCOTUS.

The 4th option seems the least likely.

He could always still be a write-in vote, right?

Option 5… have your followers storm the capitols and try to overturn the election.

No. Write-in candidates have to be registered to have their votes counted. If he’s ruled ineligible to be on the ballot on 14A grounds, he’ll also be ineligible to register as a write-in candidate.

But as I mentioned before, even if Trump is not on the ballot, there will be a Republican on the ballot, with Republican electors, who, with enough “influence,” could vote for Trump on December 17. Which would create another nightmare on January 6.

Nodding. It was extremely irresponsible of Willis to do this. It doesn't invalidate any of the case against Trump, but I wouldn't be opposed to having her removed from the case since she's a moron.

Very irresponsible. It has absolutely no bearing on Trumps innocence or guilt though imo. If she is replaced the Trump team would try to dig up some dirt on the next one and claim they are Satan. This is all about delaying any trials.
