Re: All Things Ayton

Apparently the delusion is inversely proportional to his performance.

Shocking that he can’t play 36 mpg. It’s his own damn doing. Sucking ass or being in foul trouble
There’s an excuse for everything
Re: All Things Ayton
Ayton has always been a good rebounder. He sometimes doesn't box out well, which he should work on, but in general he vacuums up boards. That has never been his problem.

Good for Ayton. Box score says he had a pretty solid game…did it against Monty too. Too bad no Duren

I’ll bet anything he’s not top 10 in total steals by Christmas.

If only everyone understood that. And specifically steals which is the most volatile counting stat of them all.
Another good game for Ayton today though.

Good for him. Maybe he will have a good streak or year. Blazers are going to be in good shape once Scoot and Sharpe come together.

Good for the big fella… they have a good young core and could be great in a couple years.

He certainly is "stealing" max money from the Blazers.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 9:29 pmTake a look at who is 6th in the NBA in steals:

Re: All Things Ayton
Give credit where it’s due. Leading the league in rebounding, sixth in steals, and shooting 60% from the field. It’s a good start. Outside of Embiid, Jokic, and maybe Duren, he’s arguably the best center in the league so far this season.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2023 7:11 amHe certainly is "stealing" max money from the Blazers.JeremyG wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 9:29 pmTake a look at who is 6th in the NBA in steals:

Meanwhile the Celtics are 4-0. It makes me sick that we helped them create a big 4 by destroying our big 4.

They would have got Jrue with or without our involvement.

Cs are fool's gold. They're going to run those starters into the ground because they have no depth.

We never had a big four.
