Yea I like him and thought he did a good job with Brooklyn before they went star crazy. Wonder if this means Borrego takes the Pistons job?

I am still confused why he was fired from Brooklyn in the first place? I thought he did a great job there, helping build up that team after the trade for KG and Pierce gutted it and helped build the current Celtics.

Oof. I like Scottie Barnes, but IMO you can't make him your franchise player and supermax him out. I think this locks in Toronto at a low ceiling for some years to come. But I get that maybe they didn't have another good choice; try to low-ball him and he probably walks.

He won’t qualify for the supermax, so it’s probably not a huge deal…and if he does qualify, means he took a leap and is probably worth it.

I think this kills the dream of Mikal returning to Phoenix in his next contract.
