GS doesn’t have anything I want
I like Podziemski, but that's about it. But you just get other teams involved. I'd give GS a grocery list: send picks my way and put together a multi-team deal that lands some players from this list.
If we're retooling with Book, I'd want Bruce Brown or Josh Giddey, John Collins, and Jonas Valanciunas.

His 3pt shooting took a bit of a nose dive, he’s tries too much on offense and leads to costly turnovers. Defense was bad, didn’t improve. Kerr criticized him in a post game interview and Pod responded that Kerr doesn’t know what’s he’s talking about. Can’t remember all the specifics of it but kinda of the gist.

I'm with INF, I like Podz. Kerr has a history of alienating players, so he's somewhat responsible for that situation.
He's still a young, smart player who rarely gets out worked by his opponent. He's going to have a long productive NBA career.

I would, so probably not.
I think they're trying to get off Anthony and Isaac and won't really do anything else.

Time to move on from Durant while we can still get something of value. Time of death, somewhere during the Blazers game tonight. The KD experiment was a failed experiment. He may put up great individual stats but he can't lead a team like Chris Paul could. He's not worth the money. Get the Warriors back on the line and work something out. Get as many teams involved as necessary.

Trading KD this week because we can't trade Beal is cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Trade KD in the summer, if at all. They'll have a lot more leverage.

If we wait, we risk KD getting injured. Also he would be on the last year of his deal and could announce that he won't go anywhere because he wouldn't sign an extension. Have to tear off the Band-aid now.

Agreed. Plus he’ll be a year older for any team trying to win a title. Why would we get a better deal in the summer?

did Luka force his way to LA? or was there an even more powerful force in the mix?
1. two years ago the NBA completed it's investigation into the Cuban Malfeasance Crisis and laid down a slap on the wrist instead of the force-out Sarver got. Cuban is a more substantial NBA celebrity in the public eye.
2. oddly, a year later, the Dallas fanatic shouting at every home game suddenly decided to sell his majority share in the franchise!
3. another year passes and Dallas, oddly, takes a wildly unbalanced deal to send the new face of the NBA to the hottest market in the NBA
Cuban is a negotiator. He may have, in a personal conversation with the commissioner, negotiated a deal everyone could benefit from.

"He could get injured" is ridiculous. Anything could happen tomorrow. It's malpractice to GM with this perspective because it's entirely risk adverse.
Leverage increases in the summer because everyone's cap flexibility increases and the knowledge of the 2025 draft order is no longer a mystery. The best time to trade KD is on draft day.

yes, Durant is starting to look his age. But even so, i'd instead trade Booker for one or more players Durant has a better chance to win with now. Then, in 2 years rebuild.
rebuilding, yet again, around Booker, imo, is a dead end. If he gets swept with Durant and they're struggling to make the playoffs again this year, who, besides Nokic or Luka is he going to win with? We can't just keep replacing coach's and maintain the highest payroll in the league to carry a player who's among the top 5 highest paid in the world, but not even an All-Star anymore.
otherwise, i'd rather blow the team up and just keep Allen.

Booker is still an all-star level player. He didn’t make the team this year because he was playing well below his standard for a month between late November to the end of the year. He’s been fantastic for about 4 weeks in a row, very much all-star level production.
Trading him would be the last move on my vision board and I’m very confident Ishbia has the same opinion.

Much of that production over the past 4 weeks has come against weaker teams though. If he can't produce against teams like the Wizards and Hornets then he has no business being in the all star conversation anyway.
I agree he'd be the last move on the board but he certainly shouldn't be off the board.
