From what I’ve been reading, it feels like the Spurs are going to be the team. Feel like we won’t get #2 or Castle, but a vassell/Johnson combo with #14 and a future Hawks pick is interesting. I don’t know about Vassell with Booker, but you could probably easily move Vassell to a 3rd team.

I saw someone talking about a 3-way with Utah…How about:

KD, #5, #21 to Spurs

Vassell/Johnson/#2 to Utah

Collins/Sexton/Sochan/#14 to Phoenix

Or something like that

I'm starting to call it the "Ishbia Tax".

Hmm, I kinda like Collins and Sexton…they’ve been hidden on an awful Utah team, but they are good.

Depends if Durant is willing to go to Toronto -

I like the idea of Poetl and the #9 pick, and while I'm not as high on Barrett, but he's not terrible. There'd have to be some salary filler from Toronto too (but no more than $6 million).

Barrett in TO has actually been very very solid. Might be because he's Canadian.

Wouldn’t Sexton be like bringing in another Beal? He’s not really a point guard.

I prefer more picks over players.

All this competition for Durant makes me think we might actually get something decent back.

Let's not get carried away here, we might only have to give up 2 picks to trade him.

Sexton isn’t a point guard, but you won’t have the problem of him being over priced. Sexton also always plays hard. I’d envision him as a Beal replacement off the bench. We are going to need scoring and he’s a good scorer. Small, but at least willing to defend. I like Collins better though. 6’10 athletic, versatile, stretch big. If you take away bigs that only dunk, Collins has the 3rd highest career TS% among active players. Only Jokic and Curry are higher.

We are going to be so bad next year. All these trades have us bringing in profoundly mediocre (or "good") players for KD, and not very many picks. KD for all his faults was able to score 30+ and carry us a lot of nights. Without him here, we are going to lose so many games. I still want to trade him, but it is going to be rough going.

I’m not worried about next year. I think it’s a foregone conclusion we won’t be good next year. We weren’t good this year. We just need to get what we can. KD is almost 37 and on a 1 year deal. We were never going to get what we gave up for him. He was 34 and on a 4 year deal when we traded for him. 3 nba players and 2 picks seems great to me.

I don't care if we have a bunch of no name players... As long as their fun, competitive and show potential I'd be happy.

I agree, I just want to enjoy watching them and have a little hope for the future.

I don't care as long as whoever is on the floor plays hard and smart. Last year was disgusting!

I think the Suns at least make the playoffs no matter what they do (unless.Booker gets traded or signifanctly injured).
