Anybody else think the Flash/Arrow combo episodes this week were incredibly cheesy?

This season of Arrow has been fairly boring IMO compared to the first 2. I really liked season 1, season 2 was eh and this one is just kind of boring.

I've blown through the first seven episodes of The Missing since Sunday. It's a really good show and I highly recommend it.

Really didn't find any of it cheesy - they played to both characters strength, and what you call cheesy, i consider fun / true to the roots of the shows. It was like an old Batman/Superman team up, with Arrow the dark vigilante - I swear I almost thought i heard "batman" but it was "that man" haha.... it stays very true to comic book sensibilities, but I don't consider that cheesy. The Firestorm reveal at the end, too... and now I'm guessing Lazarus Pits on Arrow? These shows are really hitting their stride.

I just started watching Walking Dead last week and binged all the way to the mid-season finale of season 5. Where have I been this whole time and why haven't I been watching this show? Lol.

If you are into binge-watching, try binge-reading the comics. I did that between season 4 and 5 and read like 10 years' worth of material.

Not sure I could do that. I'm pretty sure the comics are different than the TV show and the differences would irritate me while watching the show.

Not for me. There are some things that cross-over, but they are usually in a different time-line, with different characters. Some are the same, but not a ton. For example, there is no Daryl in the comics (or maybe there was really early on, but I don't remember him at all).

Yes I heard Daryl was not in the comics at all, surprising if you consider how popular he's on the show. I heard that Mishonne liked Tyrese in the prison so that's one difference between the two. Also, what do you guys think of the spin-off of Walking Dead that is currently in production?

I know I'm late to the game, but I think my favorite scene so far in Walking Dead is when

Rick, Carl, and Mishonne were resting by the truck on the way to Terminus and they were approached by the gang of guys with Daryl. I got some sort of satisfaction when Rick took a bite out of that guys neck and spit it out..I was just like finally, he's becoming a bad ass and realizing what it requires to survive.
