Suns rookie Josh Jackson responds to Kyrie Irving-Cavaliers trade rumors
The Suns rookie said, 'I think if that was going to happen, it would have happened by now'
"Talking to my agent, not really checking social media, because, you know, people just gonna say whatever. I handled it the same way I tried to handle draft night. You know, coming in, I didn't really know what was going to happen. I still don't know what's going to happen, but I'll make the best of whatever situation I'm presented with. If I'm traded to China, whatever, I'm going to come out and be happy and just try to make the best of it. I was kind of in the dark a little bit, but I got a feeling that the trade really wasn't going to happen."
The kid has got a good head on his shoulders.

I'd be worried if his head wasn't on his shoulders to be honest.

That mannequin is obviously not 6'10.5" so there is no way that's actually JJ.

The key word in that sentence was "good." But I think you know that.

The Suns have reportedly said that Jackson wouldn't be in any trade for Kyrie, but it feels like these national writers are doing their best to help the Cavs get equal value. They keep pushing this trade to include Jackson, over and over, like if they just hold their breath and wish hard enough, it will happen. Lavar would speak it into existence.

I'm tired of seeing this, when it's clear day by day with every new piece of news that comes out that the Cavs keep losing leverage on Kyrie trades. If they get equal value, good for them. I am going to be surprised if they get anything close to perceived(media & Cav fan) value.

I'm think that Murray is probably the best they are going to do, imo.

It's Bill Simmons website. A lot of people don't like him, but he has a large following and has some good writers on his site.

It's now being reported that the Cavs are targeting KP. The Cavs and their fans are pure comedy gold at this point.

We're talking about the Knicks, so anything's possible. The Knicks shouldn't even consider it, but that doesn't mean they won't.

I bet the Cavs people are leaking that rumor to make the Suns and other suitors worry that they need to put forth better offers lest they lose Kyrie to NYK. But I highly doubt the Knicks would do that deal.
