Murray is good. He is even serving PG duties.
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
He's not exactly playing well this year. Murray that is. He's shooting 34% from the field and 17% from 3. And I don't buy him as a long term PG. He's an ok fit next to Jokic, but I think a big reason Denver has struggled out the gate is their poor PG play.

I know of a pretty good one that is available.Split T wrote:He's not exactly playing well this year. Murray that is. He's shooting 34% from the field and 17% from 3. Ya, bled to Denver just makes way too much sense. I really wish we would have done the rumored bled for Mudiay and #13 over the summer. I would love to have Mitchell right now.
A package of Mudiay/faried/1st is fine as long as we can move Chandler or faried. I don't want faried stealing minutes from Bender or Chriss. But he is the type of high energy/hard working vet that could hopefully rub off on our young bigs.

Unless he's telling Denver he wants that max extension.Split T wrote:Ya, bled to Denver just makes way too much sense.

You never know. Jrue just got 25M per from the Pelis. It's a matter of timing and fit. If Denver wants to contend, they'll have to spend.

I'm all for McDonough being shown the door and David Griffin coming back.

Thoughts ???????? No. McD is not so hot with PR, but he is a decent drafter.

You guys are going to miss McDo when he's gone. He hasn't connected on 100% of his transactions, but he's way better than a lot of the bantha fodder out there. Griffin is a nice dude and seems like an okay GM but I see no evidence that he's exceptional at his job. Nah, I'd rather stick with McD than go back to Griffin.

The next GM here will be James Jones.Uncle_Gene wrote:I'm all for McDonough being shown the door and David Griffin coming back.

I think I can live without that for a while yet.

And that (likely true) idea is an example of why this team is not going to win the title for a long, long time. Hiring mediocre people with no training or experience is not how you build a winning organization, yet that's how we make every single personnel decision.O_Gardino wrote:The next GM here will be James Jones.
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
Sometimes you get lucky but so far the Suns haven't really. The Suns say they make these hires based on potential but in reality is a financial decision. It's the blind leading the blind. Sarver hasn't really learned much since acquiring the team. The only real difference I've seen with him is that he doesn't sit on the sidelines and make an ass of himself at the games. Other than that nothing's really different with him. I don't think Sarver will admit defeat and sell because he wants to prove he can build a winner so we'll have to rely on luck. A whole lot of luck.Marty [Mori Chu] wrote:And that (likely true) idea is an example of why this team is not going to win the title for a long, long time. Anyway, I guess we can hope McDo holds out for a good deal with Bledsoe that brings the Nets pick or Brogdon. Injuries happen so I think he should wait as long as he can. I do wonder when Rich PAul speaks out and demands an immediate trade of his client which would put an even bigger dent in his trade value.

Speaking of experienced GMs, how smart was Ainge to trade the first pick in the draft knowing that the 76ers wanted "bad knees" Fultz and that the Lakers were taking Ball leaving them with their man Tatum at 3?

It's his shoulder, Fultz knees are fine. But ya, very good move by ainge. Tatum looks very good early on.Superbone wrote:Speaking of experienced GMs, how smart was Ainge to trade the first pick in the draft knowing that the 76ers wanted "bad knees" Fultz and that the Lakers were taking Ball leaving them with their man Tatum at 3?
Re: Bledsoe wants out!
He dumped 2 injured PGs this season, and picked up an allstar PG and a good combo forward. If Hayward hadn't gotten injured they would own the east at this point.Superbone wrote:Speaking of experienced GMs, how smart was Ainge to trade the first pick in the draft knowing that the 76ers wanted "bad knees" Fultz and that the Lakers were taking Ball leaving them with their man Tatum at 3?

AND knees. He had knee issues in college as well as this month in the NBA.Split T wrote:It's his shoulder, Fultz knees are fine. But ya, very good move by ainge.
