I said over and over that we should target Julius Randle at power forward. Now look at him. He's frickin' all-NBA.
Me too. I keep thinking about it. Imagine if we had Randle at PF with the same rest of the lineup.
Randle was always capable of this, he just has a coach who was willing to give him the ball and play thru him now. I don't know how well he would've fit in here, with this roster, in this system and not having the ball in his hands every possession.
Michael Porter is another one I wanted us to get. We could have had him at #10.
Philly only traded that pick to us after they saw that Zhaire Smith fell to 16. MPJ went 14, so I don’t think we could have gotten him at 10. I believe we did have a trade lined up to take SGA at 11, so we could have had him there. While I think Porter is great, I’m very pleased with Bridges and would have preferred SGA to Porter anyways.
Kevin Love gets a lot of benefit of the doubt for several reasons, but that stunt should get him fined by the Cavs.
Was it intentional? Looked like he was frustrated and batted the inbounds pass back in but it was sloppy and wide right but his teammate didn’t go after it.

It's not the mistake that would bother me, it's the complete lack of effort to correct it.

That was a very strange play.
Why is Love so angry? Last year he acted out in frustration by throwing that missile of a pass at Sexton, and this this year. Meanwhile, Sexton is apparently one of the most friendly and positive players on the team, and as a veteran, shouldn't Love be offering advice and constructive criticism instead? I know that he has had issues with his mental health, but this is not right.
