He's a stretchish 4 that rebounds like a SF, I think the idea of JJJ actually surpasses the production, much like the other guy.
I think that this is about right.

It’s not all bad with Ayton. We all know he’s a cool dude. The kid could have been a little more excited though. ;)

Is it time to declare this debate over. Mr Max will never get another max deal. That talk about averaging 25/10 was silly.
I don't think so. He has the physical gifts to do so. Just not the drive and determination. That's why it was always tantalizing but now most of us see that that will never change.
So it was silly.

While averaging only 30.7 mpg in those seasons. There's no way his minutes are that low this season.
I can’t wait to hear the excuses when his averages are all the same next year if not worse
How about this? If that happens, I will admit I was wrong about Deandre Ayton.
Is it time?

Last year: 18/10/1.7/0.8 with 0.6 steals in 30.4 mpg
This year: 12.9/10.8/1.6/0.8 with 1.2 steals in 31.9 mpg
Nope. We are comparing full-season averages.
Looking forward to it. Long way to get to even 18 ppg

DA and JJJ are both overpaid. Yawn. Boring argument.

Nurks production for his contract is right in balance.

This isn’t even a debate.

That argument died long ago. He is an incredibly gifted person ability wise, probably a cool dude, but not driven to be a star. He earned himself his max deal at the last second. There won’t be a second max.

It was after the game…. The disappointment was still fresh. 😂

I can imagine the Pacers thinking they dodged a bullet

I wonder how well Turner would do on this Suns team instead of Nurkic. I don't think they could play through Turner the same way they do Nurk, but he'd be a more dynamic finisher with 3-pointers and rim pressure.

You can see why they wanted Sabonis. Would've been perfect.

Well, I was clearly wrong on this one, disappointed in him. Won't matter to the Suns, though. If Nurkic can stay healthy the Suns won that trade.

Gotta admit, I was wrong too. I remember saying, “If it ain’t OG, I ain’t interested.” When it turned out to be Grayson Allen, I was very disappointed. Turned out to be a good trade, even if it was “only” Allen.

Did you really think the Suns could get Nurkic and OG Anunoby for Deandre Ayton?

This is why guys like Flex are dangerous…well maybe not dangerous, but they make fans think more is possible.

At this point, I'm glad it never happened. Sabonis is too small.

I'd rather have Nurkic's size and strength on this team even if he's far less skilled than Sabonis.

Ya just imagine what Giannis would have done to us that year if we started Sabonis at the 5

I was wrong too about not wanting Turner. I think I was more open to Sabonis because of his rebounding, consistency, and playmaking would have helped mitigate how stagnant the offense would get under an injured CP3 and blitzed Book.

DA returned last night after missing 3 games with a sore knee. Scored 14/9 in 21 minutes. Outscored by toomany buckets and scoot.

Over/under on how many games until he leads the team in scoring for a game?

Has that not happened yet? Even once?

As Dennis Green would say, "He is what we thought he was!"
