Looking forward to it. Long way to get to even 18 ppgJeremyG wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 3:48 pmNope. If that happens, I will admit I was wrong about Deandre Ayton.specialsauce wrote: ↑Sat Sep 30, 2023 1:12 pmI can’t wait to hear the excuses when his averages are all the same next year if not worse
Last year: 18/10/1.7/0.8 with 0.6 steals in 30.4 mpg
This year: 12.9/10.8/1.6/0.8 with 1.2 steals in 31.9 mpg
That argument died long ago. He is an incredibly gifted person ability wise, probably a cool dude, but not driven to be a star. He earned himself his max deal at the last second. There won’t be a second max.specialsauce wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 9:15 pmSo it was silly.Superbone wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 4:17 pmI don't think so. He has the physical gifts to do so. I can imagine the Pacers thinking they dodged a bulletDrewsprocket wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 9:52 pmThat argument died long ago. You can see why they wanted Sabonis. Would've been perfect.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 4:35 pmI wonder how well Turner would do on this Suns team instead of Nurkic. I don't think they could play through Turner the same way they do Nurk, but he'd be a more dynamic finisher with 3-pointers and rim pressure.
Well, I was clearly wrong on this one, disappointed in him. Won't matter to the Suns, though. If Nurkic can stay healthy the Suns won that trade.JJ Slim wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 4:22 pmI can imagine the Pacers thinking they dodged a bulletDrewsprocket wrote: ↑Sun Dec 03, 2023 9:52 pmThat argument died long ago. At this point, I'm glad it never happened. Sabonis is too small.TOO wrote: ↑Mon Dec 04, 2023 4:43 pmYou can see why they wanted Sabonis. As Dennis Green would say, "He is what we thought he was!"specialsauce wrote: ↑Fri Dec 15, 2023 11:39 amDA returned last night after missing 3 games with a sore knee. Scored 14/9 in 21 minutes. Outscored by toomany buckets and scoot.
