Devin Smith was a professional basketball player overseas that just retired from playing last September:

This seems like a hire that's made exclusively for Bender. I expect him to be like Bender's personal development coach. This may be the last draw for Bender before the Suns cut bait if he remains to be a meme for John Olliver to use.

In that pic, I'm imagining him passing the ball to Dragan in a shooting session and getting frustrated and yelling at him, "More ARRRRCCCCC!"
Yeah, I hope he can pass some of his fire onto Dragan. After all, what is a Dragan without fire? A dinosaur.

Hmm. Never heard of either of them.

I hope we are getting the best basketball coaches in Europe, and not just buddies. There is a lot of people just hiring their buddies in the NBA.
They're all American coaches that have European experience. Prunty is from California and Staudt is from Texas while player development coach Smith is from Delaware.

I was like, why did we sign Keagan Key as a coach?

I believe the technical term is “bit of a shit dragon.”

Keegan-Michael? Yeah, I noticed the similarity as well. He's posing as Obama's translator in the pic with Dragon.

I know a lot of folks around here are impatient with Bender and consider him an obvious failure, but I don't think the Suns are even close to that conclusion.

They drafted a project who improved a lot in his second season.

There's no way McD is in his office saying "this is the last draw for Bender!" More likely, he saying "If Bender can keep improving like he has, he'll be a good player for us."
If he doesn't put up better numbers than 5 pts and 6 rebounds or whatever he averages, then the Suns probably won't even pick up his team option for the season after.

It's so funny how these clowns put "NBA" in their handle and try and pass themselves off as insiders.

Could you imagine the Suns drafting Doncic, trading back up for MPJ, and getting Mitchell with 31. Then trading for Dragic and Love, while keeping flexibility?

Honestly, why would Goran want that? That's the part that doesn't add up for me.

I can't.

I love MPJ like I loved Tatum last year, but figured he wouldn't be on the radar for us. Such a smooth effortless player. Adding him and Doncic would keep me engorged for the foreseeable future. :?

So we're keeping the 1 pick and taking Ayton, also trading for another top 5 pick to take Doncic or Young, and also trading for Goran. All the while McD's said in the past that he doesn't see us bringing 3 rookies to training camp and knows the team needs to turn the corner to keep Booker happy. So is he smokescreening with the draft and picks? Is he looking for vets, and does a guy like Dragic (or Schroder) move the needle enough?

Does having LeBron visit and strongly consider the Suns move the needle enough?

Thanks for posting. I think the Booker + Ayton line is overplayed. She specifically asks Book if he would like to play with Ayton, and he says something like "yes, he's very talented. So are Doncic and Bagley and others."

I really don't think there's much to these Dragic rumors. Let's leave him be.
