I just don't see the Suns brining Goran back for a third time. I don't want Olynyk or his salary to be a backup center.
Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
Olynyk can play stretch 5 and is really underrated. Ayton moves to the 4 position.
Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
I don't think anyone besides you wants to move Ayton to PF.

Mentioned this as a possible trade a few weeks back. One of the rare situations where I’d be all for moving #6

I would absolutely do the trade he throws out in there, but I don't think the nets would include Kurucs for Okobo.

I’m fine leaving Kurics out. Dinwiddie and 17 for 6/Warren/Okobo is fine with me. Bumps us up to 14 million range in FA, could still get a PF at 17(Clarke, Washington, Williams, Little, Johnson) and in FA.

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
Speaking of PF in FA thoughts...Bobby Portis? He’s restricted, but does Washington want to pay big money for him? Could we steal him away? Maybe a sign and trade that gives wizards an asset(Mil pick) and gives them a look at a young player(Jackson) and keeps them from committing long term money to Portis.
What would you pay him? He was a 14/9 guy last year and shot 40% from 3 on 4 attempts a game.

That would be pretty ideal for me. One of the more realistic scenarios in terms of swapping TJ for a good young PG on a contract, dropping back in a weaker draft and freeing up some capspace.
Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
I am not sure how realistic that trade is from their side, but it is one of the only ones I have heard for our pick that I would do.

Ya, not sure what Brooklyn would be after, but if they want to add Kyrie to D-Lo, they could probably find a better use for Dinwiddie. Is there someone they have their eye on at 6? It wouldn’t be a guard, could they be after Clarke or Hunter? Culver seems to be very similar to Lavert and I don’t imagine they’d pursue him.
Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
I'd do that deal. It only works if the Nets get a stud guard like Kyrie, though, right? Dinwiddie is important to them right now, but wouldn't be if they got a more stacked guard rotation.
Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
I still don't see why Brooklyn would move Dinwiddie, unless it is in a package to land a superstar. I don't see them trading a player entering his prime on a fantastic deal for the #6 pick in this draft.
But yes, even I would be willing to give up a lotto pick for Dinwiddie. The guy is a basketball stud.

Nr 6, Tyler, Jackson, Melton and Warren for Hayward, Smart, Nr. 14 and Nr. 20.
Targets at 14 and 20: Hachimura, Clarke, Alexander-Walker, Bol Bol, Washington (other suggestions?)

Re: Suns News: 2019 Off-Season
Suns out: #6, Meth, Jackson, Warren, #32.
Suns in: Conley, #12, Marvin Williams.
MEM out: Conley.
MEM in: #6, Meth, Jackson.
CHA out: #12, Marvin Williams.
CHA in: Warren, #32.
Memphis gets a nice pick for their borderline allstar PG, plus a free trial on Jackson (who at this point is just salary filler to me). Also, Meth is not a bad guy to have on a young team, as he showed here and in MIA. Hard to see any team beating such offer for Conley (maybe the likes of CHI, BOS, DET could try, but I don't see how they outbid a #6 pick).
Charlotte gets much needed offensive help from a young starter on a good contract, who also has ties with the state. To me that's worth the #12 pick (I confess I value TJ Warren much more than basically anyone). They also give up Marvin, a veteran that while serviceable, probably doesn't have a future on that team. Not that he'd have a long term path in PHX, but at least he can play PF; would rather have him than other expiring stuff from CHA like Biyombo or MKG. I pay the #32 in consideration to that, and to mitigate the bad taste the Hornets could have in their mouth after giving up the lotto pick. Could be willing to send them some extra draft asset/Melton (would want to keep MIL pick and Okobo, but I respect their angle if they want to have him to learn from Parker).
