What do people think of running back Oubre and Cam Johnson at the 4 spot next year?
I think you've got the wrong sport.
And what do you think of Oubre's tight end?
Hahaha. Meant to say, “Running it back with.” No comments for Tsunami Papi tight end love around here.

I think he would make a good wide receiver.

So, you're saying he's a catcher, not a pitcher?

You don’t want to cross the backline with the rock at a Bonspiel

Prob just throwing some names out there. I like the idea of Temple as a steady wing, good defender and can hit the 3, also a good ballhandler. Wes is a bit injury prone for my liking. Also not sure adding someone for a "veteran presence" is really a need at this point. I think we transitioned well to a more mature, professional team from prior years. Rubio is as solid as they come, Book is the clear leader, Kelly's got 6-7 years in the league, Mikal and Cam are older even tho they're still new to the NBA. It's not like we need to add a couple 30+ year olds to the lockerroom to babysit. If Baynes and/or Dario leave it'd be nice to add a big with experience.
It doesn't seem like it for some reason but we signed Oubre last Summer right off his rookie deal so it was only his 5th year. He's still quite young at age 24. Booker is 24. Cam Johnson is 24. Mikal Bridges is 24. Ayton is 22. Saric is an old man at 26.
I understand what you're saying but I don't think veteran leadership on a team that's still quite young would be a bad thing. It's probably not a necessity with the now 30-year-old Rubio still running things. It wouldn't be the first area of need that I would address.

We're young in age but I feel like we have mature young players. We're not a roster of 18-19 yr olds being mentored by younger vets and "team leaders" like Eric Bledsoe, Markieff and Marcus Morris. We don't need a Tyson Chandler type to show our young guys how to live and play in the NBA. That's the benefit of drafting older college players like Mikal and Cam. Rubio was the mature veteran and on-court leader we needed to put it together. If we add a vet, it should be someone who can contribute and hopefully has some legit postseason experience.
To put it in perspective, I feel like the Knicks are where we were 4-5 yrs ago, drafting high-mid lotto and taking 18-19 yr old projects who aren't developing because there's no leadership and the coaches are changing every season. They sign younger vets to contribute and "win" while the younger players "develop" and "learn to win", except neither happens.

We finally have the team that's all close to the same age and ready to take the next step. It seemed like that was always McD's goal but we couldn't get there until he left. If we play our cards right, we can be very good for years to come.

And they're ready to take the next step now that the Warriors are on the decline because timeline. Worked out perfectly.

Worked out perfectly if we can add FVV to that group.

With a healthy Steph and Klay the Warriors will still be dangerous, plus they have a smart owner and GM and will find a way to improve their roster weaknesses as all good teams do. The teams on the decline IMO would be OKC and Houston.

I was being facetious about McD's strategy about having a timeline where we turn it on and are ready to compete when the Ws dynasty is over because there'd be no point trying to compete with them. As we've seen, it was a stupid strategy then because now LeBron and Davis are in LA.

I do have to say that it seems to be a plagiarizer cross between the black Denver uni and the Jazz orange one with an 80's feel. I'm not totally against it though myself. I think Kelly and the Valley Boyz will make it look great on TV, and part of pixilation will help how it looks on TV, imo.

I don't hate it but on first glance it looked like the old Nuggets jerseys. Knowing what I know about this franchise it could have came out worse.
