There are rumors that the Cavaliers are looking to move Waithers/Thompson for another lotto pick.
Also that the Celtics are strongly considering Aaron Gordon with their #6.
Oh, and that the Suns are shopping the #27 for a future pick

I can't believe Payton is up to 13th on Chad Ford's big board.
@Kris_Habbas: Phoenix Suns Workout Today: Elfrid Payton (ULL) TJ Warren (NCSU) Nick Johnson (UA) Melvin Ejim (ISU) Roscoe Smith (UNLV) Shawn Jones (MTSU)

They have said that he's really improved his shot since the season, and has been dominating workouts. When he's been described as Rajon Rondo or Gary Payton, that's pretty high praise.

Didn't know that. I Wonder how much he has improved his stock then. The draft is what now? 21 days away? So far yet so close.

I think Denver could take him at 11, but more likely, Orlando takes him at 12.

This surprises me with Oladipo already there and the projection of Exum to Orlando at 4. Why do you think so?

I don't think Orlando will get Exum. I think Exum goes 2 to Milwaukee, and that Orlando drafts Embiid or Parker. I don't think they're serious about Oladipo playing the point.

Wiggins to Cleveland? I really think they pick Embiid.

Elfrid Payton`s jump on draft boards totally reminds me of Damian Lillard`s one 2 years ago.

I also have Wiggins going to Ohio but I think Bucks pick Embiid second.

Hornacek said TJ Warren impressed/surprised on the defensive end. Much better than staff anticipated. Already knew he could score.

That is very nice to hear. Chad Ford said he heard the Suns really like Warren at 14.

Yeah, I think they'll go with Wiggins. I think Embiid goes to Philly or Orlando.

Interesting tidbit on Warren, if he can defend then he can be a real strength mismatch at the 3 ala Caron Butler in his early years. Would be an excellent addition.

He seems like the type of player McD likes, someone who can't shoot but has length.

Warren can shoot, maybe not from deep, but his midrange game is excellent.

Remember how everyone was all over Shabazz last year for his assist ratio? Warren has the same 5.9% which also places him as the third worst of the top 100 SF prospects.

I do remember, the difference with Warren is that he was a borderline dominant player this year for NC St. He doubled his scoring from 12 to 25. With rapid progression like that you can overlook that he isnt a passer. Muhammad for all intents and purposes was a flop at UCLA, he was thought of as selfish and had a shitty attitude to boot. Concern about both guys passing is warranted, but I think Warren's potential positives definitely outweigh his negatives, I'm not sure you can say the same about Muhammad.

Agreed.
