Memphis was so close to winning. Now we have to lose the Dallas game.

A place for fans of the Phoenix Suns

Oh, I can’t argue on that one. He’s not even the Okafor I think of when someone brings him up obviouslySplit T wrote:I was talking jahlil not emeka. Let's just hope we get a top 2 pick and don't have to worry about it.
Excellent post, clear and simple... hopefully the FO consider the “Drafted on Potential” slots full and go for some safer picks, at least the highest two of them.specialsauce wrote:Sure but I don’t look at it in a vacuum like that. Last year Fultz, Jackson, Ball, Fox all had good production in college. Then you saw Isaac get drafted on potential and I think that is a similar drop in tiers this year with Ayton, Doncic, Bagley all being extremely productive. If you go Bamba or JJJ at 4 that is a huge drop off in proven production to me. At that point you’re drafting potential and that’s where it becomes incredibly hit or miss
I wouldn't cry if LeBron got the 1st pick and PHX was #2. Whatever is left from Doncic-Ayton suits me.Superbone wrote:Just did a sim that made me throw up in my mouth a little. Sure we got first but Brooklyn moved up 5 spots into second and of course that pick conveys to Cleveland.
Yeah, but that's just not right. Cleveland has had the #1 pick waaaaaay too many times and recently too.Ring_Wanted wrote:I wouldn't cry if LeBron got the 1st pick and PHX was #2. I'm curious, what is the point of these simulations? The percentages for each pick are known, run the sim enough times and that's what you'll get. Unless their rng is broken.Superbone wrote:Just did a sim that made me throw up in my mouth a little. That's just about valuing offense over defense. To say that Bamba is not a proven and productive college player ... I think you're just looking at scoring.Aztec Sunsfan wrote:Excellent post, clear and simple... hopefully the FO consider the “Drafted on Potential” slots full and go for some safer picks, at least the highest two of them.specialsauce wrote:Sure but I don’t look at it in a vacuum like that. Cleveland only wins the lottery when they send Dan Gilbert’s special son to the lottery. But he’s recovering from brain surgery now so I doubt he will represent the Cavs at the lotto meaning no soup for them.Superbone wrote:Yeah, but that's just not right. Up by 12. It would be amazing if they pull out the win.Superbone wrote:I'm not holding my breath but so far the Grizzlies have been able to stay ahead of the Pistons into the fourth quarter now.
