Hmmm, well it is Ayton’s off-season…I know I said a Monty Williams avatar, but what if we did Nurkic instead? Keep it someone still on the suns?
I was thinking something like this
I will do it...but it better not jinx our playoff run.
If you come up with a better one let me know and I'll switch it out.

How about this? Admittedly crude and hastily made, but, it's something.

Good, but better if he's turned around.

FUN FACT: DA averaged less ppg this year than the prior two seasons with the Suns, and his third lowest average of his career. Despite a nice roll to end the year, he was an underwhelming Mr. Max yet again

Oh Ayton is mr underwhelming but he still shows flashes of being a top tier centre in this league.
Maybe he'll figure it out ..maybe he wont.
Anyway im gonna go find some stuff to read about the playoffs we're in

Nobody wanted to believe me when I said he was our best player in clutch time last season.

You’ve got to separate out creators vs finishers in those stats. But credit Deandre for being a clutch finisher…that’s a skill we miss with Nurk

I wouldn’t say it wasn’t we didn’t believe you we were just frustrated in a lot of other aspects of his game/personality.

His shooting percentage in crunch time is good, as it always is. But that doesn't mean he was our "best" player during that time. For example, you absolutely couldn't run the offense through him, nor throw him the ball and expect a basket. If you carefully executed a play that ended up with him getting the ball in great inside position, he would likely net you a bucket. That counts for something, but by itself it doesn't a crunch-time offense make.

Bowie was #2.
Bagley was #2.
Why does everyone forget?
