I know there are a few Robert Williams fans on here, reports are that he's planning to go back to Texas A&M for his sophomore year.

Woah. That is news considering he is a top 10 pick on DX right now.Split T wrote:I know there are a few Robert Williams fans on here, reports are that he's planning to go back to Texas A&M for his sophomore year.
Maybe he sees this loaded draft class and thinks he's in the 8-12 range, but if he enters a weaker class next year, he could be a top 5 pick. It's a big gamble though, rarely do lottery or borderline lottery picks return to school and improve their stock.carey wrote:Woah. True, Ivan Rabb could have been picked higher last year. Next year is going to have a number of good bigs in the draft. I am not sure where he is going to fall with those guys, but he might improve his stock, idk.Split T wrote:Maybe he sees this loaded draft class and thinks he's in the 8-12 range, but if he enters a weaker class next year, he could be a top 5 pick. Lottery picks candidates should not go back to school unless their families are independently wealthy. The risk is not worth the scant reward.carey wrote:Woah. I read not too long ago a book called, "Indentured", about just how corrupt the NCAA is. I didn't like the NCAA before I read that book, and it just confirmed so much of how I felt about the NCAA. Anyone looking to read more about the insanity that is the NCAA should pick it up.Cap wrote:Seriously. NCAA treats its players like crap. If you can leave that racket behind for guaranteed millions in the NBA, you're crazy not to.
I support anybody named OG.In2ition wrote:Have you guys seen stuff on OG Anunoby or Peter Jok? I really like what I see of both. Also, Jonathan Jeanne is good possibility for a draft and stash.
John Oliver does a good take on it on his show. There is also a good Epsn 30 for 30 doc on it - at least on the bball side of thingswpmiller42 wrote:I read not too long ago a book called, "Indentured", about just how corrupt the NCAA is. They've recently started playing Russell off the ball, I don't think they'll have any hesitation in drafting Fultz or BallO_Gardino wrote:UCLA vs Kentucky tonight should be great. Ball vs Monk. I have hopes that the Lakers want Monk, since they might be happy with the point guard and SF they just drafted.
I think they are hoping and probably with the arrogance of being the Lakers, they are fully expecting it.Split T wrote:They've recently started playing Russell off the ball, I don't think they'll have any hesitation in drafting Fultz or BallO_Gardino wrote:UCLA vs Kentucky tonight should be great. Does complete = greater winner?Split T wrote:Cuz Fultz is a more complete player. He may not be the passer that ball is, but he's a better scorer. He's also a pretty good passer. Fultz has got some Wade in him, not as explosive athletically, but a better shooter
