If the Suns' training staff can revitalize his career, wouldn't he be another trade asset? I'm not saying they should do it, since I want to see how the young guys do in the summer league, but it shouldn't be off the table completely.
Funny how for a long time, DWade was thought of as one of the most humble and approachable superstars out there. I think if the young guys on the Suns team grow and develop into Superstars, they will also start to seem arrogant if they win a title or three.

The people who are bitching we are doing nothing are the same people who bitched about the ill-conceived Warrick,Turk,Childress spending splurg of 2010.

The suns have ALOT of young pieces and assets. Really if they did absolutely nothing for the next few years (which obviously they won't) they would still be a playoff teams because of the improvements of all their first/2nd/3rd year players.

Signing and overpaying by about 3mil per a declining Channing Frye to a team that will not be able ti compete for a ship for another few years unless some unforeseen major move happens would of been a BIG MISTAKE. Thankfully Mcdonaugh is our GM and not sdc who may be David Kauhn in disguise.

Banking on the latter at this point.

Tucker still in PHX is hoping to get "market value" whatever the hell he thinks that is. 3D guy = 4M. Anything more is an overpay.

He came back to negotiate so positive signs for Tucker fans.

RealGM will melt down if they re-sign PJ, they hate that guy. Hopefully we keep him. Let Warren learn to be a pro from a guy like that.

The best stuff from over there are the few posters that are willing to give Frye all the credit for Dragic's success. That claim we should trade him now because he will suck next year while at the same time being shocked when Frye gets 8 mill a year. I mean if he is the sole reason Dragic is so good there is no reason he shouldn't make more money than him. :)

Sounds like SDC is running around the RealGM boards using multiple aliases.

No thanks. If this is the best the Suns can do this year in free agency, I'd rather stand pat and devote the season to gathering more assets with the cap space and develping the youngs.
This.

As organic as this team is, we sure as hell don't need pesticides.....
Ha! Good line.

Good point. I'd much rather do nothing.

Same here. At least in free agency. I could see a trade or two happen though.

I'm glad to hear it. I hope he's back at a relatively good value. You want him back, carey? I know he's not perfect but I like what he brings to the team. As far as I know, he's the only vocal leader left.

I've always maintained that I wanted Tucker to return, but it depends entirely on his contract, just like everyone else on the team. I don't want to overpay for a role player. I just don't. It's how you wind up in terminal mediocrity.
