Depends on the players. I wouldn't be crazy about LeBron James wearing a Suns uniform. I also wouldn't want my team to become just some hype machine.
But you love it for the Warriors. Go figure.
I don't love it; I just don't hate it. In fact, I specifically said, "Is this my preference? No."

From Warriors POV, I get it, and I don't have an issue it.
Of course, everybody gets it from the Warriors POV. Still, most fans hate it. It basically makes the season a formality and a joke. It's not good for the game of basketball in my opinion. I think you're in a very small minority outside of GS that doesn't mind it.

Of course.

Interesting... His work etic drives me away, but if he puts his heart on it, he could be a hell of a teacher for the kids , and actually be a productive player at the 4 and 5.

So does Boris.
LOL. Just what I was thinking. From layup territory too.

One thing I do look forward to is the first GSW game in OKC. I imagine we'll have never heard a chorus of boos as loud as what we're going to hear. BTW, has the Durant jersey burning started in OKC yet?

I don't think it changes much. The Warriors and Cavs were going to be the favorites before the Durant decision, and they still are after the Durant decision. OKC dealing Ibaka was a great long-term move, but it certainly didn't put them in a better position to beat the Warriors in 2017.

And I'm not willing to hand the trophy to them just yet. San Antonio is getting better in adding Gasol. And Cleveland is the reigning champ.

Plus, in 2-3 years, Minnesota will probably be in a position to knock them off.

I wouldn't count on him mentoring or teaching; I just appreciate his basketball IQ ability to play the 4 and 5. But there is definitely a "buyer beware" label on that acquisition; he could certainly show up not giving a crap and give us absolutely nothing.

Oh, yeah.

It's hilarious from the standpoint of a Sonics fan though.

Suns kinda had a super team in 94-95 with Barkley, Majerle, KJ, Manning. They were on national tv ALL the time on TNT, TBS, and NBC.

Good point. I loved that team too. But hen Majerle nose dived the second half of the year, Manning's injury, and the Suns still didn't have a center or defensive scheme to contend with Olajuwon. Plus, they were just soft, outside of Danny Ainge.

Regarding Durant, I don't blame him for leaving. When Ibaka got traded on draft night, I figured the writing was on the wall. OKC moves Ibaka for players that don't get OKC closer to a title. I like Oladipo, but he's not an all-star and doesn't have post season experience. Sabonis is the draft pick and Ilyasova, while he does have post season experience, is NOT better than Ibaka. How were those moves going to convince Durant to stay ? Bottomline, I would've left too.

I don't think the Ibaka trade played a factor in any of this.

Brandon Jennings is signing with the Knicks for 1 yr 5 mil. Could we see a 2 PG lineup there?

Another guard I wouldn't have minded taking a flyer on for the Suns had the offseason gone differently. Bargain of a deal, but poor fit with the Knicks IMO.

Not sure you can compare that group with having 4 of the top 12 players in the NBA (and a 5th guy who's the ultimate Swiss Army Knife).

I don't think we've ever seen anything like this collection of players before. It's unreal.

True. I don't think the point was to compare that Suns team to the Warriors; just trying to think of a time when the Suns had something close to a super team.
