I don't think the draft has any bearing on the future of those guys. They are both reserves, and everybody knows it. They could be moved or cut to clear space durring free agency or to facilitate a trade, but Ayton and #16 are not changing the status of anybody on the team except Alex Len and Elfrid Payton.

If we plan to do anything in free agency, I think they're both gone. Could come back on minimum deals. Feel bad for Williams. That injury was very untimely.

Wish we could keep Williams and get rid of Chriss.

One still has some upside and the other one will the be 3rd C making 5m. Easy decision really.

I like Sauce, but he has no place on this roster as it stands after adding Ayton. He can't shoot

I posted the article from BSotS last year on what made Sauce so important to our offense. He's more than just a good rebounder. He sets really good screens. Like elite level screens. The sole reason Ulis sucked last year was due to Alan's injury. Being as small as he is he relied heavily on the space Alan provided him. I think he's a bargain at $5M a year. I don't think Chandler is long for this team, but there's a chance they want to keep him around to mentor Ayton. Their games are radically different though.

Yeah, I like Williams as a third center. Ayton needs work on setting screens.

Chandler is going to play 40 games next season. We need a 3rd center who can play unless we're giving Bender all of those minutes.

Yup, plus he's the best teammate ever. I hope we keep him around.

Chandler's mentorship is one of the most overrated things I've heard in a while. He's gone if the right deal comes a long, and if not he's a nice expiring contract.

Somebody needs to teach Ayton proper defensive positioning but Kokoskov is more than capable of doing that.

https://twitter.com/KellanOlson/status/1010017083566903303 What's the next step? I think we clear out some guys before FA. Ulis, Reed, Williams all have non guaranteed deals and I think they're gone.

PG - Knight, Okobo, Harrison
SG - Booker, Daniels
SF - Jackson, Warren, Bridges
PF - Bender, Chriss, Dudley
C - Ayton, Chandler

Don't see a lot of need for Daniels anymore. I could see him getting moved. Also dosent hurt to keep him as an 11th guy. I think you've got to move Warren. If we can combine him with Chriss for a solid vet at the 4, I'd be happy.

Feels like PG could be a target of FA unless we really think Knight is the answer. Would we go after Smart? We could also use Warren as trade bait for a PG and target vet 4's in FA.

We're not cutting Ulis until Booker's extension is inked.
