Eric Gordon was a flawed player, but overall I thought he helped us last year. Steady veteran presence off the bench. Mostly when he hurt us was when we tried to use him the wrong way or elevate him to a role he can't handle any more (sliding up into a starting role).

My problem is we have too many SG already. I thought Gordon was great for us at times, but if we’re going to play 4 guards, one of them needs to be a pg…with EG they are all 2-guards.

Yeaaahhh, it was like watching a T-Rex try to dribble basketball when he was bringing the ball up.
Love, Hurts.

It makes sense that Eubanks is unlikely to be back in Phoenix on the radio, but will he be back in Phoenix on the basketball court?

Yeah, he's not much of a talker but boy, can he take a punch!

Then freeze at a clutch moment to take an open 3, dribble into the paint and lose the ball like a moron

It seemed like we did so good, too! I remember everyone, or nearly, thought we had a stellar FA given our constraints.
Go Suns!

I wonder if Coach Bud could have gotten some of those guys to work better, like KBD or Goodwin.

I wouldn't say they whiffed. They just didn't hit the jackpot like Philly did with Oubre on a minimum contract.

There isn't really anyone besides Oubre and Derrick Jones Jr. who significantly outplayed their minimum contract. Gordon, as annoying as he was, was still good value. Almost every other minimum guy in the league sucked.

If you get a rotation player who isn't awful, you really can't complain too much. The expectation level might have been unrealistic considering his age.

Ya Gordon wasn’t a great player, but he was easily worth the minimum deal he signed. You don’t just find 11 pts and 38% 3pt shooting off the scrap heap

A lot of you guys are quick to point out flaws in our various rotation players. And yeah, they're flawed. But we signed almost all of them for minimum deals. At that price it's hard to ask for much more than what we got.

We probably did have some unrealistic expectations…Gordon for sure gave us good value on a minimum. I think we just hope we were getting more than a minimum player out of guys like Eubanks, KBD, and Yuta
