2026 NBA Offseason
Re: 2026 Offseason
why would Porzingis take such a deal…
Re: 2026 Offseason
NBA Europe, bids opened for 12 teams, to start operations in October 2027. Very interesting read.

Re: 2026 Offseason
IMO NBA Europe sounds like a terrible investment. There are already Basketball leagues in Europe and the existing ones seem to fit European culture and sportsmanship pretty well.

Re: 2026 Offseason
Norm Powell to Chicago. What is Miami going to do to bolster their roster on the wing?
Re: 2026 Offseason
Kessler, Mamu, Grimes and Sexton to the Lakers.
Re: 2026 Offseason
Is it me or is that Kessler contract a bit insane? 5 years 140? $28M per. He averages 50 games played per season with averages of 10/8/2.5. Those blocks are pretty good but is he that much better than Mark Williams? Those blocks get Kessler an extra $15M per year over Williams?

It's even worse than you think. He got 4/130, $32 percarey wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 9:26 amIs it me or is that Kessler contract a bit insane? 5 years 140? $28M per. Re: 2026 Offseason
I actually think Kessler is pretty decent but that's absurd. With that said, I wouldn't be shocked if he thrives with Luka feeding him in the paint and playing defensivespecialsauce wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 10:05 amIt's even worse than you think. That's an overpay for Kessler.

You can debate whether the contract is crazy. Then throw in 2 FRPs and 2 FRP swaps.

LAL totally was in panic and Ainge fleeced them. Giving up control of 4 1stRs for Kessler is beyond insane.

The Jazz are quietly becoming OKC's heir apparent. Tons of young talent, tons of draft picks, good contracts. I honestly think they might be a playoff team this year depending on how Peterson does.Ring_Wanted wrote: ↑Wed Jul 01, 2026 10:41 amLAL totally was in panic and Ainge fleeced them. Would Dallas do Kyrie for Green and Dunn? No picks

Re: 2026 Offseason
Kyrie is 34. I wouldn't. Unless they throw me a first rounder
Re: 2026 Offseason
I asked something similar during the playoffs and got roasted.
IMO, Green should be the more valuable trade asset because of Kyrie's age and injury history. Plus, I think Dallas kind of has to trade him. I would argue that Green is a great fit next to Flagg and Morez. They should send us a pick or 2.

Re: 2026 Offseason
If we're dreaming for Green trades I'd rather go for Derrick White. Fills is more gaps (perimeter defense) and doesn't come with the nonsense that Kyrie brings.
Re: 2026 Offseason
White would be awesome..I just don’t see why Boston would consider it…
I think some of you are overvaluing Green though…there’s no chance we are getting 1st back for trading him for better players(regardless of how old they are).

Re: 2026 Offseason
He had a rough postseason, and they have PP as a backup PG and now Conley. Certainly would depend on what they get back in a Jaylen Brown deal as far as team needs.
