Next stop China. Are we dominating yet?
I don't see it. I don't think he loves the game enough to go to China to continue his career. Besides, he's made enough for generational wealth as it is.
He will not have to work as hard to collect a check. His pride won’t allow him to fade into infamy. Getting traded to a sorry org like the Wizards is the final death blow. If he weren’t a #1 pick he’d have been forgotten about by now.
We'll see. I don't think he has that much pride.

While averaging only 30.7 mpg in those seasons. There's no way his minutes are that low this season.
I can’t wait to hear the excuses when his averages are all the same next year if not worse
How about this? If that happens, I will admit I was wrong about Deandre Ayton.
So?
I also said this in a follow-up:

If you're right, then that will mean I was wrong about him being able to reach another level.

But even if that's the case, I still would have kept him instead of making the team worse.
I still stand behind that. Also, notice that everyone else was predicting a championship or title contention, not a first round sweep by Minnesota that year.
Nice gaslighting.
