Dallas may have the most unexciting team in the league.

I imagine all the Seattle fans feel really sorry about this horrific loss for such a great owner and city.

I don't think it changes much. The Warriors and Cavs were going to be the favorites before the Durant decision, and they still are after the Durant decision. OKC dealing Ibaka was a great long-term move, but it certainly didn't put them in a better position to beat the Warriors in 2017.

And I'm not willing to hand the trophy to them just yet. San Antonio is getting better in adding Gasol. And Cleveland is the reigning champ.

Plus, in 2-3 years, Minnesota will probably be in a position to knock them off.
What get me how everyone is railing on the Warriors for creating a super team, this is nothing new.

This has been going forever. There always have been super teams. No one really had a chance in the days of the Celtics, Lakers and Bulls dynasties. In those days player movement was limited and once you acquired a star he stayed there for most of his career. In the current NBA there certainly are teams that dominate but not nearly as much as the dynasties I mentioned. The salary cap eventually will catch up with everyone. You can no longer afford to stash players on your bench so injuries are more damaging than ever. In recent years Lebron has made a career of building super teams in both Miami and Cleveland. He has made the finals for like 8 years in a row. He has not done that all by himself. The Spurs have a chance to compete with both the CAVS and Warriors next year. I am really looking forward to watching the Warriors play.

I say we just forfeit the 4 games against them so we can save Bledsoe's knees from any further damage.

The spurs don't stand a chance against the warriors in a 7 game series. Spurs will win 60+ games but will probably get swept. The warriors played their worst basketball of the season during the playoffs, still almost won the finals and now they've added the 2nd best player in the NBA not already on their team. If they stay healthy, there isn't a team in the league that has any hope of defending them. We might as well hand them the trophy now.

So, you wouldn't trade this package for Durant?

I hate super teams, but we all would loved it if the Suns do it. And once the super Heat was born, the customary tradition of win it all by yourself was over. Blame it on the millenials
Sure, but there is risk involved for Golden State. Their front line is going to be thin, and they're in the position the Suns where when they were using Joe Kleine and Danny Schayes as their starting center.
Well, they just took care of their frontline:

Let the burnings begin:

Nothing says the Fourth of July like grilling jerseys.

Wait, what?

Upset Thunder fans took to grills and fire pits Monday to express their displeasure with Kevin Durant's decision to sign with the Golden State Warriors.

Many burned their Durant jerseys after the NBA star announced he wouldn't be returning to Oklahoma City.

They posted videos and photos of the burnings on Twitter:

That Pachulia signing is great for GS. Absolutely great price; you could have imagined him getting $12m a year in this crazy offseason. He's a smart and savvy center who won't get grumpy if he doesn't play 30 mpg.
