Nah I'm a big fan of Thomas. But he's a small, speedy guard who would play the same role, albeit a much bigger one, off the bench (assuming we keep Bledsoe).
KG is basically a better version of Bo Outlaw. LeBron is basically a better version of PJ Tucker
is it me or is it weird to see "lesser talented" white dudes like hayward and parsons getting more love and max money offers from desirable destination teams than bledsoe?
bleds got a max offer from milwaukee... it's akin to a rich ugly girl falling in love with you.
This is the one rumor that has me absolutely perplexed. Don't understand our interest at all. Classic empty stats on a bad team, aka Aaron Brooks part 2.
I don't really understand the Isaiah Thomas rumor unless we are planning to let Bledsoe go. Even then, he's a lot shorter than Bledsoe, and a poorer defender and passer. It'd be a downgrade. And he'll probably be too pricey to be brought in just as a backup in place of Ish Smith. I know we need a backup guard, but I feel like he'll cost too much. Maybe I'm just not using 2014 cap logic; I guess you have to just pay these guys and focus on getting talent, not on dollars. Right?

It's not a rumor. The Suns pulled out the red carpet. I saw pics of their usual signage outside USAC featuring IT2.
If you want to hear a rumor, I heard that Earl Boykins and Muggsy Bogues are coming out of retirement and are currently en route to Phoenix for a tryout.
There is no doubt that IT is a very nice player. Against the Suns he was unguardable, and he is not as bad on defense as his height could suggest. He is much better than Brooks, in my opinion. But anyway, you just don't spend on him with Bledsoe-Dragic-Ennis unless you are planning a major change.
