Meanwhile, Jordan Bell, Tyler Dorsey, and Dillon Brooks have been goving the Jayhawks the business. Jackson hasn't played well at all today.

He's a forward tweener who doesn't shoot outside of the paint, but he's an athletic freak who has progressively evolved his offensive skills. I could see him developing on a trajectory similar to Alan Williams or PJ Tucker where he goes undrafted but finds his way onto a roster and eventually becomes a rotation player.
The way he played tonight, he looked like Ben Wallace out there.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Ahem.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Jordan Bell is a guy I think has some sleeper potential. He's gonna get some Draymond Green comparisons over the next week.In2ition wrote:The way he played tonight, he looked like Ben Wallace out there.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Ahem.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Jordan Bell is a guy I think has some sleeper potential. Why do you think that?Flagrant Fowl wrote:He's gonna get some Draymond Green comparisons over the next week.In2ition wrote:The way he played tonight, he looked like Ben Wallace out there.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Ahem.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Jordan Bell is a guy I think has some sleeper potential. He's a skilled passer out of the high and low post, he can defend every position, and he hustles his ass off.In2ition wrote:Why do you think that?Flagrant Fowl wrote:He's gonna get some Draymond Green comparisons over the next week.In2ition wrote:The way he played tonight, he looked like Ben Wallace out there.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Ahem.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Jordan Bell is a guy I think has some sleeper potential. Many thanks.carey wrote:Congrats FF. Doing this all without Boucher has been impressive. Still a big fan of Dillon Brooks and would like him here at #33. Calling my shot now like I did last year with Tyler.

I can't tell where your loyalty lies with this statement man. I'm gonna assume it's with Ball.O_Gardino wrote:I would be very sad if the Lakers take Ball. For one thing, I don't think he's a good fit with their guys, and I don't think he will flourish with that team. For another, I think the daddy drama will inflate in LA. If Ball goes to a small market team, that story line will die out quickly.pickle wrote:The Lakers can deal with Ball's shooting hitch and with LaVar please.
But that's less preferable than the Lakers losing that pick all together.
Not very interested in Brooks with the 33rd pick... Not enough length to be useful as a rotational piece in the NBA in my opinion. Good heart, but ... Ed O'Bannon?carey wrote:Congrats FF. I have reservations about him as well, but in the second round? That's about as low risk of a gamble that can be made.pickle wrote:Not very interested in Brooks with the 33rd pick... There's not much evidence of him shooting, but I think that's mostly due to him playing his role. Everyone on else on the team can shoot from anywhere at a higher percentage, so they have Bell do all the other stuff.In2ition wrote:He is a good passer, but can he shoot?Flagrant Fowl wrote:He's a skilled passer out of the high and low post, he can defend every position, and he hustles his ass off.In2ition wrote:Why do you think that?Flagrant Fowl wrote:He's gonna get some Draymond Green comparisons over the next week.In2ition wrote: The way he played tonight, he looked like Ben Wallace out there.
I don't know. How do you define risk...? I'd rather take Bell with that pick than Brooks, to be honest. At 6'7 with a 6'5 wingspan, he's basically a 2 to me. He might have some bulk to bang with bigger players but I don't see him being a plus defender. He had a few very impressive step back three pointers today, but his athleticism didn't really impress me, so I see a lot going against him in the NBA...Flagrant Fowl wrote:I have reservations about him as well, but in the second round? Yep, I came here to congratulate you too. Just finished watching the game. I think Bell is getting drafted after tonight's game. Very impressive.Flagrant Fowl wrote:Many thanks.carey wrote:Congrats FF. Doing this all without Boucher has been impressive. Still a big fan of Dillon Brooks and would like him here at #33. I think that would be a tough decision at 33, and it could depend on how teams envision either guy in their role and system. I'm not sure Brooks will be around for the 33rd pick anyway. I'm pretty confident he'll go in the late first round.pickle wrote:I don't know. How do you define risk...? I'd rather take Bell with that pick than Brooks, to be honest.
