Thanks for the "Book" video, Carey. Fun to relive all that.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I feel like this blurb by SI on the winners and losers of the NBA free agency period is about 2 years late:

https://www.si.com/nba/2017/07/06/2017- ... vin-durant

Losers: Phoenix Suns
While the Suns still haven’t been relegated to the G-League and are still in desperate need of a serious talent infusion, you never would have guessed it given their radio silence. The sad part is that it’s easy to talk yourself into Phoenix’s inaction given GM Ryan McDonough’s track record of trade and free agency misses.

Regardless, the Suns’ deep cache of recent lottery picks—Devin Booker, Josh Jackson, Marquese Chriss, Dragan Bender—all deserve as many minutes as they can handle in 2017–18. But the youngsters—and Suns fans—also deserve some degree of hope that this rebuilding project is leading somewhere. Right now, that doesn’t exist.
You post that in the summer of 2015, and I get it. Maybe even last year. Not sure if it is as applicable this year--perhaps I am delusional about the direction that the rebuilding project is going, but there is a stockpile of young talent on the team that seems like it will provide the foundation for the team to build on over the next few years. It just seems like a lazy take to me.

Agreed.

Very lazy. I'm fine with it though.

Let them underestimate us. We can be a pleasant surprise / shock to the league. :-)

I'm really excited to Reed play. There were a few solid 2nd round 2/3s who have been playing well like Dotson and Bacon. It'd be nice to see Reed make his mark.

The PHOENIX looks like the font of the old blue Rockets unis.
I don't like these other than a 50th anniversary alternative, used sparingly. I love the current set of uniforms.

Anything is better than the awful stuff we trot out now. I don't mind the potential ones that were leaked.
