Wow, that's not a vote of confidence for McLemore.

Has McLemore done anything impressive in the league? Seemed like he was a big time bust.

Way too passive and inconsistent. The rap on him in college was that he'd disappear for one half and then explode in the next. Just couldn't put it all together. I wouldn't even waste time on him at this point.

I wouldn't call him a big time bust but did not play as well as I originally thought he would. His minutes have gone down since year 2 and only his 3P % has slightly increased. He's only 24 and will catch on somewhere and probably succeed considering all the turmoil that was Sacramento over the last 4 years.

I remember some here wanted us to select him in the draft.

I'll admit I wanted him over Len.

Noel was the other one many wanted but he hasn't done much either.

I'd still rather have McLemore than Len, and I don't want McLemore. I'm just done with Len, I hope we move on

I want to keep Len if we can get him at a reasonable deal. But I also want us to have him do less. He should concentrate on rebounding and rim protection. We shouldn't be running any offense through him.

I do not know how you win playing 4 on 5 basketball.

I want to keep Len, too. I agree that we shouldn't run plays for him, but that is different than playing 4-on-5. Len should still be involved in pick-and-rolls where he actually rolls to the basket (as opposed to the pick-and-pop with two jumpshooters that is more popular in today's NBA). When not in P&R situations, Len should also cut to the basket or hang around near there for offensive rebounds. And occasionally he should move to open mid-range spots for jumpers when he is not being closely guarded. He can still contribute on that end even if we don't run plays for him.

If we move Chandler I'd be ok bringing Len back on a cheap deal and playing him 18 minutes a game, but I'm not willing to let him take minutes from bender and Chriss. Len had 4 years and I'm not impressed, time to give bender a chance.

I confess. I was pushing him. I was wrong.

He could actually do well paired with Jackson. Jackson is very good at driving and making a dump off interior pass. Len and Chriss would benefit from that greatly.

Except Len has terrible hands, and if by chance he catches the ball, he drops it below his waist every time. It's the reason he's terrible at offense.

It's more spot minutes and having a big to take up space. The Ws used Bogut, Pachulia, McGee that way. Bogut would start games, play 4-6 minutes and then they'd run the rest of the time. That's why I wouldn't break the bank for Len, but I'm not dead set against bringing him back.
