if the Lakers are bluffing about Ball, they're really going the whole 9 yards with it. needlessly, it would seem.

hmm. Hard to argue with that. Maybe they are just trying to make sure the Ball brand knows it's place. Or maybe they really do like Fox or Jackson or Monk better.

Hard not to like a guy like Fox who with better physical tools (imo) also just happened to give Lonzo Ball the beating of a lifetime when they faced off.

I think this might be it. Its just to quell the entitlement mentality of LaVar.

I fail to see how this will have any measurable effect on them or their "brand."

Maybe not. But if I was the Lakers it would just bother me to tell LaVar I was going to draft his boy. I would love to make him squirm a little.

I don't think the Lakers as a business would be that petty. Then again, the Buss' own it, so....

If they think LaVar is going to get on the back of the Buss, they've got another think coming.

So, the Suns worked out Tatum today in LA, but I didn't see any info whether we like him for the four or not. Maybe it tells us something that this workout didn't happen in phx or maybe it was just easier this way.
