That team didn't pay Harden after going to the finals. Now they are paying way more for a team that lost in the first round.

Look at Trey Lyles per 36 minute numbers and shooting percentages last year. I wonder if we could just take him from Denver who has, no joke, 8 power forwards on their roster.

He's on a rookie deal still, they need to move bigger contracts and I think they like him. Plus they gave up Donovan Mitchell for him, they'd look real dumb to give up on him for nothing this soon.

Denver needs to move Millsap but will probably settle for moving Faried somewhere.

Bucks signing ilyasova feels like the end of Jabari there. I don't have much interest in him, but if we can't find any deals elsewhere, a 1 year deal with Jabari might be ok... Although Milwaukee would have to pull his QO for that to be a possibility. Jabari might have to play on his QO this year

For the players, maybe so. For Golden State this time around it actually helped them because it opened up the mini-MLE. They will be able to sign someone. Maybe even Ariza if the market is dry and he can't get what he wants elsewhere.
