The Clippers are playing tonight at Houston without both Leonard and George. Probably some combination of "we should be able to win this game anyways" and "we don't really care about the chance of getting into second place the way the seeding is looking to shake out."

The Clippers care so little that they are literally starting a Scrubb (Jay Scrubb: https://www.basketball-reference.com/pl ... bja01.html)

It looks like Denver will snag the 3 seed...they won tonight, clippers are throwing their game...trying to avoid the Lakers perhaps.

Ha. It took me all of 3 minutes. Jump to the 30 minute mark, OKC down 12. Jump to the 60 minute mark. OKC down 20. You get the picture.

Clippers announcers say it's actually a disadvantage for Utah and Phoenix to not get a week to prepare for their opponent lol.

This is the seventh time the Suns have won the Pacific Division, tying them with Golden State for the second most. The Lakers have the most, at 24.

The way things turned out today, I imagine the Lakers will stay at 7. There’s a very good chance that Denver loses that game to Portland on purpose. Winning it would clinch the 3 seed and likely push Portland to 7 and LA to 6. So Denver loses, they play Portland or Dallas, they win and they probably play the Lakers. I think they’ll lose. Still, having Denver as the 3 seed instead of the Clippers might be nice. If we beat the Lakers, we won’t go straight into a series against the Clippers.
