Lol. Whut? Really?
The list had CJ McCollum and Beal at 2/3 not sure which order. Can't remember the 4th but Booker at the 5th spot.
Someone has bought into that All Star break hype.
Lavine is pretty legit! I wouldn't put him 1, but I'd love to have him
Booker or Lavine, who do you pick?

I think I stick with Booker. I didn't realize Lavine has increased his 3-point shooting from ok to good. The other numbers look very similar. Still, with the fact that Booker is 2 years younger and just a rookie I bet on his upside. Minnesota is still in a great position. They have the next Duncan and with Wiggins, Lavine, and a top 5 pick coming in... they should be good for a long time if they do this thing right.

Booker and Warren vs. Lavine and Wiggins is a wash (though, personally, I prefer our duo). But KAT >>> Len.
A lot rides on us doing better in this upcoming draft than the Wolves. Outside of our respective big threes, our other assets are comparable in value (Bledsoe, Knight, Chandler vs. Rubio, Dieng, Muhammad), though we do have more picks coming our way down the line. These are the future teams to beat in the west, methinks.

Lavine's decision making/IQ is a handicap to an otherwise limitless potential. He was a disaster at PG. In that sense Booker is a safer bet, but if Lavine learns to play the right way he is TMac part II. Big if, though, but anyway Lavine's floor is looking way higher already than expected.
I don't think either team agrees to a swap. At the very least we are allowed to be homers about our kid.

I'd stick with Booker. But I'd take lavine over Warren

Better question - LaVine or Wiggins?

If the Wolves are 2 seasons away from competing, then I feel like the Suns are about 1-2 seasons behind them.
I've liked LaVine for awhile, but I'd still take Wiggins over LaVine and I'd rank Booker ahead of LaVine.

I've actually been thinking about this recently and I know a lot of people will probably disagree, but I'd take lavine.

Wiggins 1000000000%.

I understand picking Wiggins, but why are you so confident? Wiggins is bigger and much better at getting to the line, but Lavine is a much better shooter. I don't buy lavine as a pg, but he's a better ball handler and passer than Wiggins. Plus, Lavine is one of maybe 3 guys in the league that can match Wiggins athletically. Again, I understand picking Wiggins, but the two are much closer than you think IMO.

FWIW I think Wiggins will be better defensively.

I like both guys, but I just think Lavine is way more replaceable given his position and skill set. There are only a few guys like Wiggins in the league, and having one on your roster is a huge advantage.

Wiggins is developing slower than many thought. He scores, but contributions elsewhere are pretty limited, and he still can't make the three. That's for sure where OE32 is coming from when comparing him to Warren.

I still see Warren as a more natural scorer, but Wiggins is on another planet as an athletic freak.

Of course. Wiggins' athleticism is his ticket to superstardom, but first he needs to actually use it to its full extent.

Yep. There are plenty of guys out there with great athleticism. They are on youtube dunking the ball with huge verticals. But they don't have basketball skills.
Meanwhile Steph Curry is the nba MVP. Atheticism--overrated. True ball skills--underrated.

Zach Lavine has a very low Basketball IQ. As stated earlier the experiment to play him at the point was a poor one. In his defense, it was never his natural position. I would take Booker 10 times out of 10 over him.
Wiggins has the tools to be great, but he needs to be more efficient. He killed the Suns the other night, 32pts on 13shots, it may have been his best game all yr. His shot is still inconsistent and he is an erratic defender. He is shooting like 29% from 3pt range, that needs to improve.
The biggest difference between what the suns have and what the wolves have is KAT Towns. Dude is just straight up legit. Future multi all-star. If the wolves ever contend (I'm not as sure about this 2yr timetable as others) It will start and end with him.

Amare's offense and Horford's mentality.
By the way, Millsap is tearing it up and I love it.

That seems to happen to lots of guys who play the Suns.
