That was a lot of fun. No mention of Bender's first made three? Assisted by Booker, he banked it in. All he could do was laugh about it. Love Ulis. Williams was fighting like a dog for rebounds. There was some nice chemistry displayed between Booker and Williams. I think he needs to make the team over Price if it comes down to the two of them.

I've been assuming Price is out of here since the Barbosa signing. Bledsoe, Knight, Booker, Barbosa, Ulis, Goodwin... how many guards can we have?
And we need another center on the roster, since Chandler and Len won't always be available. So, barring other trade for or signing of a center, Wiliams should make the team.

So, what you're telling my is that... The Price is Wrong?

Ulis is probably already better than Price.

I'm looking forward to INF's take on the game.

I was thinking it, but I dare not say it. We have to watch them play first, after all.

Didn't you just watch him? Poised, comfortable, defends, passes. I crown him 5th guard after 1 SL game!

Just watching the highlights, I was very impressed with some of Booker's moves in the post. Good footwork and looked to impose himself there. He looked - and is - a class above the competition.

Booker told Watson he wanted to work on his post up game in Summer League.

There is a youtube link in there that is nice.
Anyone that has ESPN can watch it online @ watchespn.com
I gave up on cable when I realized I only really used it to watch the Suns. I really wish the NBA would just do away with their blackout crap on league pass. Would make it much easier to watch.
Pay a few dollars for an IP that is out of AZ and watch it via league pass. Much better deal than paying for cable/satellite just for Suns games.

I think there are things Price is much better at. Others, not so much. I would much prefer to see what Ulis could do with this team than any of our PGs (Bledsoe, Knight and/or Price).

He said that one of the reasons he wanted to play was to work on his post-up game (like Kobe said he should). Well, we saw it. Booker seemed like he could just impose his will out there. He played well in last year's SL, but he is on a completely new level now.

Its being live streamed on youtube if you search for it. The resolution is not great, but I was working today and was able to watch while writing other things.

He better be since he played NBA ball for an entire season and many of these guys he is playing against were undrafted.

Way to downplay his improvment.

I didn't downplay it. If he didn't look head and shoulders above the rest of the competition, we should be worried. He missed like his first 15 shots last year. That is a huge improvement. My point was that he should improve like that, if he is ever going to live up to your expectations. And by 'your' I don't mean just you. We have anointed him a superstar in the making. That is a steep hill to climb.

Booker has worked to become so much better off the bounce than I thought he ever would be, and he's probably going get even better. He truly is a stud.

Ugh. Really bad sequence where Bender posts CJ Fair up, gets about 12-14 feet from the basket, launches a duck of a hook shot that hits the front rim, and then on the other end Fair takes him off the dribble from the 3-point line and draws a foul on him in the lane. CJ Fair? Ugh. I liked him in college, but man it's going to get a lot harder than that at the small forward position.
Love Bender's activity on the boards early on, his aggressiveness in looking for his shot, and how comfortable/natural he looks bringing up the ball.
