I love watching Bender play defense. His anticipation shows that he has played professional basketball for a number of years.

Bender gets switched onto CJ McCullum at the 3pt line and gets a hand up to help CJ miss. The difference between Bender and Chriss is that Bender knows how to handle that situation. They both have the athleticism to make it tough on opposing guards, but Bender just has more experience defending the perimeter.

Good to see Bender is still in.

Booker and Bledsoe back in. Bender still on the court; he has earned some time with the first unit.

He seems to even get more respect from the refs (last drive by CJ into him could have been an and 1 call

Wish Bender could have stayed in for 1 more min of the transition back to starters.

Bender is one of our best defenders. And he's 18.

Napier is doing the kinds of stuff for Portland that Knight is supposed to do for us. Activity, scoring, hustle defense.

I thought so too. Is Booker starting to get Star treatment?

An eight-point deficit at the half. It could have easily been 20. So not so bad I suppose.

Ironic that he gets the offensive foul call when you asked that. LOL
I think that when he focuses on his game and not the refs that they may tend to lean his way more often then not. When he try to plead his case they tend to remind him that this is his second year.

I will go out on a limb and say that there is very little doubt in my mind that he has the potential to get super star treatment if such treatment were to actually exist.

Bledsoe with a very difficult 10' shot on the baseline, fading away with a hand in his face. I'm glad he made the shot, but I'm mad that he took it.

TJ warren has been quiet. He seems to be strggling with the quickness and pressure of the Portland defense. Maybe it's time to get him some minutes at PF to jump start him.

Len shooting so bad once again, but he has 8 rebounds already. I just don't know what to make of this guy.

I jinxed him.

First half stat: Suns starters with 2 assists, both from Bledsoe. Bench with 10, 4 from Knight.
