Yep, that was horrible.

I mean Blesoe had just finished a series of unbelievable drives to the hoop. We only needed one point, not three. Ridicuous.

And it just shows how bad this team is that we couldn't put the Pelicans away on a bad night from Anthony Davis.

true. And they were in the penalty right? Why not attack and kick it out if you have to

Some folks seems upset that barbs was in there at the end of game. But that might potentially mean we are somewhat done with knight. If a guy who is supposed to provide offense isn't there at the end or OT (when our offense stunk) then what purpose does he serve?

Passing looked a little better but it was mostly around the perimeter. But we just revert to sloppy pick and rolls if there is any pressure in the game.

We also do very few dump off passes to guys like Len and Chriss. Laker game Len kicked ass getting it close to the hoop and going up strong, Tonight guys drive to score or pass it below the bigs knees.
WHY are we playing Barbs, Tucker and Chandler at the expense of Len, Ulis, Bender, Chriss, Williams? It makes no sense. These guys are average veterans playing on a s*** team for a reason. And they are losing at epic proportions. WHY are we not playing the young guys. Would you guys rather win an additional 5-10 games this year at the hands of these end-of-the-bench veterans, or just commit to developing our players who are actually a part of our future?
I'm with you on this but obviously the Suns aren't. They're playing the guys they think will give them the best chance to win. I just hope when things get way out of reach that they change stategies to developing the young guys.

Knight barely played at all in the second half. I'm guessing more likely a minor injury or something like that than Watson suddenly growing a brain at halftime.

I am glad we lost in the sense of ping-pong balls. But the way we are playing is just so stupid. Giving all these minutes to veterans who have no future here. No semblance of an offense or defensive scheme. Our entire offense is one of the following two plays:

- the ring-around-the-rosey passing outside of the 3-point line that never leads to an open shot; or
- the "let one of our guards go 1-on-1" with Bledsoe, Knight, or Booker.

We basically don't win unless we are playing a bad opponent and also have a great night from one of our lead guards to just carry us to an ugly victory.

But the worst of it all is that the young guys don't play!! Ulis and Bender in particular get almost no minutes a lot of nights. I mean, yeah, they aren't always great when they're out there. But we have -nothing- to play for. NOTHING. They should be getting 35 minutes a night for Pete's sake. The management and coaching of this team is just a total joke.

Hopefully Sarver comes to the conclusion sooner rather than later that McDonough is a bad GM.

And you're not giving him his due. He played great defense on Davis all night long.
You watched the game, but you didn't see.

We'll agree to disagree. A canteloupe set in front of Davis on the court could have played the same defense. Davis's biggest problem was he couldn't make a shot tonight. He got all the same shots he always does.
I guess you didn't see all the times PJ fronted him and made it hard for him to even get the ball. Or when PJ stripped him of the ball a couple times.
And I recall Tucker playing Davis pretty well last game as well, to be fair

We have to keep this 7 win team afloat.

I'd like to keep Sarver away from his own ideas for as long as possible. That's how we got here

Not sure who is worse Earl Watson or Alvin Gentry. I love what Alvin did when he was here but that team has quit on him. They look befuddled out there.

PJ played hard. Davis lack of interest in anything game related i think inflated things a bit.

I cant even talk about Beldsoes terrible shot at the end of regulation or every shot he took thereafter. He is such a tease. Some players just arent winners.

I got that from an unofficial source. According to NBA.com, it's -207 and +51.

New name for AASE/BHS: MVPPBP. Most Valuable Ping-Pong Ball Pursuer. Get rid of him and this might actually be a mediocre team.

It's unfathomable how anybody thought that was a good idea in that situation. I couldn't believe how long he was waiting to make his move. That was because there was no move. Pathetic.

Agree with this. The less Sarver has to do with the team, the better.

The Pels are actually playing much better lately.

They started the season 0-8, but since then they have played 8-9. They feel that they are in the playoff hunt and just need to keep improving and stay healthy.

The bad play from our lead guards is a terrible example of how to play, too. I do not want the rookies learning from the way our vets play.

Some coaches aren't winner either. uhg, this whole team is so frustrating to watch.
