I really like fox and he's got some Westbrook/wall in him, but he's quite a bit smaller and not as explosive. I think his ceiling is somewhere between Conley and Wall.
I think we're really splitting hairs here. The point I'm making is that Fox has elite PG potential.

Just for fun, look at the combine measurables for all these guys we're comparing to Fox. I'll stick with my opinion that he's physically closer to Westbrook/Wall than Conley.

Fox: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/De-Aaron-Fox-72510/
Westbrook: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Rus ... rook-5062/
Wall: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/John-Wall-1339/
Conley: http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Mik ... y-Jr-1176/

He's a similar height to Westbrook and wall(6'2, 6'2.25, 6'2.75) but he's much skinnier. Wall and Westbrook both measured over 190. Fox was 170. Wingspan is 6'6 for fox, 6'7 for Westbrook, 6'9 for wall. Conley is 6'0 with 6'6 wingspan and 175. So fox is essentially the height of Westbrook/wall with the weight and wingspan of Conley. But yes, splitting hairs a bit, I just don't think fox is ever going to be an MVP or borderline MVP contender like wall and Westbrook are. Fox is a great athlete, Westbrook and Wall are elite athletes.

Dunno. He has also made just 12 of his last 28 free throws, which I don't think can be attributed to acclimation to the NBA line. It's possible he could turn out to be one of those players who has good form and shoots the lights out in practice but can't hit during a game. That would suck, but it happens.

I saw this and thought it was pretty good.

We are NOT getting Jackson unless we trade up, period. If Philly doesn't want him, they will trade down to get the player they want. But Philly needs a player like Jackson. Simmons will play with Jackson. Just you watch. There is more of a chance of Ball falling than Jackson.

Currently, I'm on the Jackson bandwagon for our pick from all I've read. Probably fits our team needs the best as well as being BPA.

Been thinking since Chandler is old and Len is a bum, I think we're gonna snag Zach Collins. Just putting this out there, legit 7' with a good stroke, shot blocking timing, good hands. Drawns fouls at a high rate, also fouls a ton and McD loves that. Its by no means who I want, but I just think he's the guy.
Love, Hurts.

Picking Zach Collins at 4 would be a disaster.

This idea is a shot in the dark but with our need for shooting if we draft Jackson then I think we move Warren with #32 (or maybe something else) for a pick in the late teens and take Luke Kennard. One of our biggest weaknesses because of the Knight experiment failure is that we didn't have a 6th man that could come in and score. You could address that later at #32 but Kennard is one of the best shooters in the draft and worth a look. I do expect us to address back-up SG in the off season. So if we don't go this route we could sign someone in FA.
Go Suns!

How many games did it take him to get up 28 FT attempts? Some guys get that many attempts in 3-4 games, but if it took him 12-15, that seems more like a rhythm problem.

I'll be bummed if Bender doesn't get over 20 minutes per game next year. This team is too bad to not give its 4th pick serious burn.

Clearly, we would be risking to get our rookies arriving all at the same time!!!
No way sir, not in Watson's watch, and not with the future "Best PF ever" playing the same position... I guess, in that family, Bender is the maid's misterious son.

To try and see it from the other perspective--It appears that Watson was under orders to win as many games as possible to try and make the playoffs until about the AS break. It would be hard to do that playing two young rookies at PF, splitting time. I get that. I guess what I don't get is Watson bowing to that pressure when it wasn't the right thing to do for the family (i mean players).

I lean to see it that way too actually, the only issue I have, is that within that command, Earl clearly favored his pick, I think is clear that in that famous "the room was splited between Bender and Chriss", Watson was in Chriss' corner and later tried to make his point clear winner, giving him a longer leash and the starting spot even before the command expired. Bender is lacking confidence right now, he has highest BBIQ than Chriss, and is the only rookie playing within a team concept, but seriously needs the same support.

That's his entire NBA career, plus preseason, summer league, and euroleague. All the stats available. But it's actually outdated; he had one more FT after I looked it up and computed it. It's actually 13-29.

Then I am not really concerned yet. Let's get him 15 attempts in Summer League and see where he stands.

OK, I'm firmly on the Jackson bandwagon. My question to you all is, who do we pick if Fultz, Ball, and Jackson are all off the board? Is there any chance we take Fox?
