Even if he does actually develop a 3 point shot (which, on a team with crap 3 point shooting, makes him even less useful), the domestic violence thing says that he's likely to be a horror in the locker room, a blight on the community, likley to commit other violent crimes.

If he goes all Jerrod Mustaf on us, it won't surprise me.
I think you're way wrong. A lot of people had him as the best player in the entire draft. The Suns wouldn't have taken him if they thought he had a 20% chance of being any of what you described above.
Synchronicity and all that jazz, man.

I agree in that Jackson is hard for me to get excited about. But I don't think there is a lot of evidence that he'll be violent or criminal. Let's give him a chance.

"University of Kansas basketball player Josh Jackson was charged Friday with a misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property related to a December incident involving the car of a female student.

Laura Bauer and Mara Rose Williams of the Kansas City Star reported the freshman guard was charged for allegedly causing damage to the vehicle at the Yacht Club in Lawrence, Kansas.

Jayhawks teammate Lagerald Vick was listed as a potential witness to the Dec. 9 incident by police following their investigation. The Kansas City Star report noted the unnamed female student who reported the damage previously accused Vick of domestic violence.

Bauer and Jesse Newell noted in January the school determined Vick, who wasn't charged with a crime, "likely hit a female student multiple times" in 2015. The Office of Institutional Opportunity and Access recommended two years of school probation, but it's unclear whether that was enforced.

The players were also among five basketball players listed as possible witnesses to an alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl in December, per Hunter Woodall and Blair Kerkhoff of the Kansas City Star. Frank Mason III, Mitch Lightfoot and Tucker Vang were also named."

Yeah, he's a real winner.

Not saying it's likely, but domestic abusers are much more likely to escalate. In any event, suns are at high risk to have to deal with all sorts of bad legal and behavioral issues coming from him.

The kid is trouble. You'd think we'd learn after the Morris twins and Earl Clark.

I gave up on that hours ago. Doesn't look like he's going anywhere. Just Phil "teaching him a lesson."

The Knicks took the french, we got Jackson, we still can work out something with them.

And maybe we should also call the Twolves, after the Butler trade, they could certainly use Bledsoe next to Jimmy, at least revisit that Rubio-Knight swap.

Well neither of them are known domestic abusers.
